Family is requesting assistance with the utility bill. This assistance would a 17 year old, 13 year old, and 11 year old. The family is stretched thin with every day costs and trying to move into a better neighborhood. The family needs support to assist the family from hardship.

Single mom is working very hard to take care of her two kids, 16 years old and 6 years old. She recently secured an apartment, but is struggling with move-in costs. Financial assistance is needed to help keep this family together in a safe place. $1,500 would be greatly appreciated to help keep this family out of the system. Thank you!

I’m reaching out on behalf of a client who is nearing the end of her time in our program and working hard to establish long-term stability for herself and her family. She has made meaningful progress and is close to securing sustainable independence, but is currently behind on her utility payments.

As she prepares to transition out of services, having this support would make a significant difference in helping her exit from the program on steady footing. We’re hoping to find community members who may be willing to assist her in covering this essential need either in full or in part. It would provide critical relief and greatly ease her transition.

A foster parent is opening their home to a couple of young girls ages 2- and 3-year-old. They are in need of a Skinny Tall Dresser and pull ups size 4T-5T and wipes for the 2-year-old. It will allow the foster family to take in the children.

I have a ct trying to co-parent with the mother of his son but has been living in sober living until his mother got her house back after renting it for a while. My ct's mother was in a bad relationship that costed her stuff and her home. My ct is needing to help his mother but needing his own house too, to have his son more. Since kids arent really allowed at sober living houses for more then one night. My Ct has a huge chance to see his son more but the problem is my ct just got the house back from renters and doesnt have much of any furniture in the house. My ct is asking for help with a living room couch to sit on, have guests and for his kid to sleep on if not sleeping with him as they do not really have a bedroom ready for him since he just started coming over. My Ct is asking for a coffee table as it would be there main place to eat. This coffee table would be used for games and coloring with his kid too. Then my ct has asked help with a tv all kids feel more comfortable places when they can watch cartoons. My ct wants to be able to watch cartoons and movies with his kids in the living for bonding and cant do that well with out a couch, or a coffee table, or a tv either. Everything can be used and not new just working. My ct is now working a full time job and just started paying child support out of his checks so he can see his son more but life is hard only making a certain amount of money after child support and taxes that my ct needs help to get these extra things.

I am working with a awesome, hard working Single mom that does amazing work helping others in the community is now facing some hardships. She and her family attended, participated wholeheartedly and graduated from our 14-week Strengthening Family Program and has been an outspoken advocate for family wellness. She was recently put in a very hard situation and received news that her landlord is selling her home expectantly, and she was put in a time crunch and after searching and searching for a new place she found one and has to come up with a deposit of $1000 to hold the unit. After talking with the new homeowner, he stated she could allow her to pay $500 by Monday 6/9/25 and the other $500 by Friday 6/13/25. If you can help, please be a blessing to this mom, please, she has helped so many families in her line of work, and she has just paid her rent where she is currently living and does not have the money for her deposit. If you could please help her so she and her children are not put out on the street, and can move into their new home. Anything you can donate would be a great help. Thank you!

An aunt is taking in her nephew that the mother lost custody of and the uncle took him in and now he recently lost custody. The child is 14 years old and the aunt is in need of a twin bed and mattress. The child is currently in a boys home so the aunt is going to take him in. Child needs clothing( XL shirt, 38x34 pants, (size 12) shoes, socks, (large) underwear and hygiene products.

We have a brave mother with young children who is a survivor of recent domestic violence, and we have been supporting this family in their journey toward stability. Unfortunately, the program we had arranged for them is no longer able to accept them. We urgently appeal to the community to help provide temporary housing for this mother and her children for the month, ensuring they have a safe roof over their heads. Meeting this need would not only offer immediate shelter but also give them the essential time to find another suitable program. This mother is currently 8 months pregnant, making it even more critical to secure a safe space for her and her children. Please join us in helping this young mother keep her family together and create a plan for their future.

A family of 6 with kids who are 12, 10, 3, 1 has moved into the SCV and is need of support. The father is currently looking for work to help support the family but currently they don't have any income. The family has rented an apartment, but they do not have sufficient beds or furniture for the family. The three year old is in need of a twin bed/mattress. The family also needs a dining room table and a couch. Any support would be helpful. Gently used furniture would be welcomed and appreciated.
