Her children are in the process of being returned to her care, and while she is deeply committed to creating a safe and stable home, she currently does not have the financial means to provide beds for her children. Obtaining these beds would not only relieve significant stress for the mother but also offer her children a sense of stability, security, and comfort during this critical time of transition. Your support would allow this family to begin healing together in a safe and supportive environment. It would also enable the mother to focus on her continued progress, including maintaining her home and meeting the needs of her children. We are working with a lady that obtain her twin nieces from JFS in order to prevent them from going into the foster care system. She is young (in her early 20's) and not married. She is trying to manage these twins on her own and doing an amazing job. She is actually in the process of taking foster care classes in order to receive compensation to help her with the twins. The twins have been placed with her since they were new borns for the past several months and as they grow she is in desperate need of additional items. Some of these items are a necessity in order to be approved as a foster parent. She does work and has to pay for child care which limits her funds.

During the last two months the younger child required multiple doctors visits and specialty visits to Stanford Children's Neurosurgery Center. This has put a major financial strain and hardship on the mother. With additional unforeseen costs of travel, medical bills, prescription costs, and lost time from work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to help this family with this urgent need as they are facing eviction.
