Please help a teen mom who is having a baby girl in a few weeks! She wants to be the best parent she can be and is very excited to welcome this little one into the world. Due to some substantial family roadblocks, the mother has been unable to work and has some needs for items for her baby. Meeting this need would reduce a great deal of stress and provide for the wellbeing and safety of this little one.

We have a family from Africa who would like a new sewing machine to repair clothing in their home. Walmart sells a Brother machine for about $90

A mother of three children under the age of 5 is facing an urgent crisis. She has been unemployed since April and, despite her best efforts, all financial resources have been completely exhausted. Her June rent of $1,100 is past due, and she is in immediate need to avoid homelessness for her and her children. She is not giving up, she has secured a new job and will begin work on Monday, June 16th, but her first paycheck will not arrive in time to cover this critical need. The apartment manager is giving her until next week to pay her rent, but if she can’t, her and her 3 young kids will be evicted and will be on the street. We are asking for urgent help to keep this mom and her young kids in their apartment and not become homeless. In addition to rent, she also needs assistance with diapers, as well as gas to get her to and from her new job. Any amount will help and is appreciated. This family we have helped before. She was removed from an abusive home and moved into Covington with her children and has struggled to make ends meet. Her apartment is now asking her to leave, but she has secured a place in Clifton but needs help moving some things to her new place. She has 2 children and has a very hard medical diagnosis that has been keeping her bills high. She will need a truck or trailer to haul some things. I have this valued at $10 because it's not really a monetary need. She has also requested to have someone sit with her to help her work out her financial budget. She is really doing her hardest to take care of her family.

Single mother of two was recently laid off due to her not having childcare. The mother was taken five-year-old child to work with her to continue to make ends meet. She is a recent divorce, and former husband is not willing to help. Family is facing eviction June 25, 2025, if mother doesn’t pay pass due rent ($1,192) and late fees.
