A single mother of four children had to relocate to a new city for her and her children's safety as a result of domestic violence. Mother has stated that she now has no support in her new city. Mother is currently not employed as she is trying to get acclimated to her a new area, while just delivering her youngest child a few weeks ago. During the social worker's assessment of the family's new home, she observed that the family needed a bassinet for the newborn baby boy and a bunk bed set for the other three children to sleep on. A Pathway member has recently started walking with a young woman who is 5 months pregnant and plans to keep her daughter when she is born. Her boyfriend is the dad of the unborn baby and he was the sole provider before recently being incarcerated. Mom is currently staying in a motel. To make the amount she needs for rent daily she has been doing online surveys and selling apparel / house ware things on Facebook marketplace.

She doesn’t currently have any support system. She has applied for jobs but being 5 months pregnant hasn’t been hired. She does not have a car which makes it hard to apply anywhere far away from the motel.

The Pathway member is connecting mom to more long-term resources but, in the meantime would like to ensure that mom is housed for an additional two weeks until the longer-term resources can be arranged.

Please pray for and help this pregnant mom stay housed til other resources are available. Thank you!

This young lady recently graduated high school and is preparing to go into college in the fall. She currently lives with a single mother who is not actively involved in her life. The student has been able to maintain a 3.0 GPA during all her years in high school. She is actively involved in extra curricular activities and in her community. She would greatly benefit from this summer camp experience among her peers before she goes off to college.

Family of 6 is currently homeless and at a temporary shelter. The family is experiencing financial hardship. The student has had a hard time in school staying focused and on task when present. Mom has been trying to connect him with sports but financially cannot afford it, school counselor spoke to coaches and staff, and they are willing to let him join, needs proper wrestling shoes to be able to start training with the team.

We are supporting a single mother who has recently reunited with her children with weekly meals and a prayer team. She has requested assistance with her utility bill to get caught up. If you are able to help strengthen this bio family with financial contributions, we will contact you to log on to the City of Monroe website to pay the bill directly.

As you may be aware, Dave Petke is in the hospital with a UTI and blood pressure problems. Sharon is not able to be at the hospital all the time, it wears her out and her health is not good enough for her to be there with him all the time. She’s tried just calling to check in, this morning she sat on hold for 45 minutes and had to call back three times before she finally got someone to answer. Someone is needed this week to sit with Dave each day between the hours of 8am-12pm to give Sharon time to get ready and get over there each day to be with him. Please do not share this need beyond our church family. You will be contacted with specifics of where to go when you select your day. Thank you!

I am working with a awesome, hard working Single mom that does amazing work helping others in the community is now facing some hardships. She and her family attended, participated wholeheartedly and graduated from our 14-week Strengthening Family Program and has been an outspoken advocate for family wellness. She was recently put in a very hard situation and received news that her landlord is selling her home expectantly, and she was put in a time crunch and after searching and searching for a new place she found one and has to come up with a deposit of $1000 to hold the unit. After talking with the new homeowner, he stated she could allow her to pay $500 by Monday 6/9/25 and the other $500 by Friday 6/13/25. If you can help, please be a blessing to this mom, please, she has helped so many families in her line of work, and she has just paid her rent where she is currently living and does not have the money for her deposit.
