A mom lives in Lynchburg with her 3 children. Her husband is currently incarcerated, leaving her to be the sole provider. Health complications beyond her control caused her to lose her last job. Last month she got a remote job, which will suit her medical needs better, but it will be several weeks before she gets paid and she has no way to make all of this month's rent which is due 6/16 - latest. She is currently searching for a second job to help make ends meet. Thank you for any help you can provide to this mother as she does everything she can to get back on her feet.

Foster parent returned home from vacation to a water leak and broken pipe in their home. The leak is underneath a bathtub on the 2nd story. Foster Parent is in need of someone with plumbing experience to cap the water line under the bathtub so they can get the water turned back on and have running water in the home. Foster parent is willing to do the manual labor but has no plumbing knowledge.

We are reaching out on behalf of a young mom who is currently on strict bed rest due to a high-risk pregnancy. She is in the final stages of her pregnancy and preparing to welcome her baby girl very soon. Because of her medical condition, she is unable to move around or prepare for the baby on her own.

She has recently graduated high school and is living with her father's family, as her parents are not present to support her during this time. It’s an incredibly vulnerable and scary season for her, and we’re hoping to help ease some of the stress.

The only item she still needs is a car seat and travel system duo to be ready to safely bring her baby home. If anyone is able to help fulfill this urgent need, it would mean the world to her and her family.

A client came into our center in desperate need of emergency supplies. She is a mother of four children and her situation has been nothing short of heartbreaking. While pregnant, she went to the hospital seeking relief for a severe headache, only to be diagnosed with prenatal hypertension. The condition rapidly worsened, and tragically, she had to deliver her baby prematurely. Her precious newborn, Alexis Miracles, passed away on April 10th. In the midst of her grief, this mother is also caring for her one year old daughter, who has outgrown her bassinet and urgently needs a crib for a safer and more comfortable sleeping environment. We are reaching out to ask if you can extend your support in helping this grieving mother with this critical need, as she navigates through an incredibly difficult time. Homeless single mother of 1 yr old twins was found by police hiding in the bushes with her children. We have no other information right now, but this mom has NOTHING for herself or her children. This family we have helped before. She was removed from an abusive home and moved into Covington with her children and has struggled to make ends meet. Her apartment is now asking her to leave, but she has secured a place in Clifton but needs help moving some things to her new place. She has 2 children and has a very hard medical diagnosis that has been keeping her bills high. She will need a truck or trailer to haul some things. I have this valued at $10 because it's not really a monetary need. She has also requested to have someone sit with her to help her work out her financial budget. She is really doing her hardest to take care of her family.

Single mother of two was recently laid off due to her not having childcare. The mother was taken five-year-old child to work with her to continue to make ends meet. She is a recent divorce, and former husband is not willing to help. Family is facing eviction June 25, 2025, if mother doesn’t pay pass due rent ($1,192) and late fees.
