A 15-year-old girl was recently removed from her parents for the second time. Since then, she has already faced more challenges than most her age, including five different placements; one of them out of state. She’s now back in our community and finally beginning to find some stability. It’s been incredible to see her start to settle in and thrive. She has a deep love for the arts and a naturally creative spirit. One thing she’s especially excited about is learning to play the ukulele and enrolling in a class at Flathead Community College. This opportunity wouldn’t just help her grow musically, it would give her a positive, healing outlet and a chance to build meaningful social connections. Music is such a powerful tool for expression and growth, and for her, it’s a step toward joy and recovery. To help make this dream a reality, we’re hoping to get a ukulele so she can begin her classes.

To whom it may concern, I am making this request in efforts to assist a mother and father who have 7 children. The family was recently placed in motel through Washington County DSS due to unsafe living conditions at their prior residence. The family has since secured stable housing and have moved into a new place; however, they now have limited furniture due to being forced to vacate their prior residence in a hurry. The family has received 6 new twin mattresses for the older children, however they are in need of bunk bed frames to get the mattresses up off the floor. The youngest child is 4 months and has appropriate sleeping arrangements. The family struggles financially and cannot afford to purchase bunk bed frames at this time.

Mother left a domestic violence relationship. She is starting over in the area with her two children. Mother would appreciate anything that someone can help with. She has a 5 year old boy and a 1 year old boy.

The 5 year old boy is in need of shoes, summer clothes, and pjs. He is in size 5/6 boys clothes.

The 1 year old is in 18month-24month clothes. He is in need of shoes, summer clothes, and pjs.

The 1 year old is in size 4 pampers 360. This is the only brand that he can wear. He need wipes. She would also appreciate some cleaning products. Nothing specific.

The family consists of a single father working on a reunification case plan with the Department of Family and Children Services to be reunited with his 1-year-old daughter. Although he is employed, he is currently facing reduced hours at work and is three hundred dollars short on his rent. On behalf of this family, I am requesting assistance from the community. Your support will help ensure that the father and his daughter can continue visiting his home.

Children are two boys, ages 11 and 13. One parent is in jail and the other parent is homeless and battling drug use. A family member has taken the children in but the children can use some clothing or gift cards to buy clothing; as they only had the clothes on their backs, and their shoes were too small. Anything will help. Caregiver could also use some help with getting one more bed (twin size).

We have two brothers who attend NKT, one is 12 years old and the other is 8. They need beds to sleep in. We have listed the need as two twin beds but would also gladly accept bunk beds. If no actual beds are donated here, we will look for good-quality previously owned beds on Facebook Marketplace.

We have a dear NKT family of 6 (mom, grandma, and 4 children) who do not have beds to sleep in nor living room furniture to sit on. We want to bless this family by outfitting their home with these furniture items. We will look for good quality, previously owned items on Facebook Marketplace.

A single mom going through a divorce is trying to become financially independent. She currently makes very little income, and needs assistance to help pay for gas so she can drive her children to school and different activities while she looks for work.

Glocal provides for the physical needs for a new baby to be welcomed through a baby shower. We are currently out of the baby bath sets that include baby shampoo, baby lotion and diaper cream. Many stores sell these as a set or we can use the individual items and gift them to these moms that are usually having their first baby in the US. so far this year, Glocal has given showers or made deliveries to over 40 moms and we have 5 coming up next week. this will support us through the end of the summer.
