Since arriving, he has made significant strides, including securing stable housing and creating a supportive home for his family.

Despite his progress, the family is currently facing a critical need: the lack of a washer and dryer. With three young children, access to clean clothing is essential for maintaining health, dignity, and a sense of normalcy. This gap places an additional strain on the family’s daily life.

At present, the father is unemployed but actively searching for work. His efforts have been challenged by the lack of reliable and affordable childcare. Nonetheless, he remains fully committed to building a better life for his children and is taking every possible step toward self-sufficiency.

The family consists of mom and her three children. She works hard to care for them. She has requested assistance with new beds for the two oldest children (twin bed frame + mattress) as well as diapers for the youngest child. The family currently has bunk beds but the mattresses have worn out and the mother has requested two separate beds for the children, rather than bunk beds. Unfortunately, last summer mom sustained an injury resulting in multiple reconstruction surgeries of her leg, resulting in losing her job and an extensive recovery. In good news, mom just recently has been able to start confidently driving again, thus is seeking steady employment. This financial request will assist with missed payments for the orthodontist surgery, to alleviate some of the expense stress on the family. If no payments are made by July, the braces will be removed with no retainer due to incomplete treatment, and the bill will be forwarded to collections. If someone is able and willing to help out with this unpaid late bill, that would be a HUGE help to this family.

Mom is just now starting to be able to drive a vehicle again thus is starting to seek stable employment. This assistance for Consumers bill will prevent the electricity from being shut off the 17th.

Family of four is facing eviction July 17, 2025. Family needs $7,000 to keep their family together and current home. Father recently laid off from work and is looking for long term employment. Father is a licensed painter and willing to work.

A young family of 2 children ages 1 and 7 years old are requesting a dryer as they moved into a house from an apartment. The couple have been here from Venezuela for about 2.5 years and help out at Centro Cristiano a Las Naciones with leading music. They moved from an apartment which had a washer and dryer and now they need to provide for their own. The father is looking for work and does odd jobs to help pay for rent, bills, food, clothing, etc. A dryer will help mom take care of her kids so that they will be able to attend school and help their hygiene. A single mother of 5 children missed quite some time from work due to unforeseen behavior issues with her 7-year-old son, who has since been diagnosed with ADHD and ODD. Due to these conditions, her son was not able to stay in school full days and she had to stop working for seven months until she was able to get him approved through his insurance for an in school one-on-one counselor, a smaller classroom setting and also a 504/IEP plan. Now that he has those, she has been able to get another job but won’t get paid until June 30th. She has fallen behind on her rent and several other bills. I am requesting help with the following bills: rent for May $833, she has worked out a payment plan with her landlord for the remaining balance if she can get May’s rent paid; light bill $274 and that is with an approval for cooling assistance from social services which starts on 6/15, her disconnect is for 6/16; water bill $54.37 which also has a disconnect for 6/16. I am also requesting assistance with food and gas money. Mom reached out to her social worker about all these requests, but worker was not able to process her snap application in time for her to receive benefits for June, so she won’t receive any snap benefits until July 4. She also needs money for gas to get to her job.
