This request is being made on behalf of a young client who is currently six months pregnant and recently displaced due to the wildfires near the Eaton area. She lived with her parents, 15-year-old brother. Their home was tragically destroyed by the fire. Thankfully, the family was able to evacuate safely, but they lost nearly everything in the process. They were only able to take a few items of clothing and essential documents. Since the fire, they have been staying temporarily with an acquaintance, but this is not a long-term solution. The client's parents are hardworking individuals—her mother cleans homes for a living, and her father works in landscaping and gardening. Sadly, both lost all of the tools and supplies they rely on for work in the fire. Client also lost all the baby items she had already begun collecting in preparation for her child. This request seeks support to help the family begin rebuilding their lives. Assistance is needed with: Securing stable housing (including deposit, first month's rent, and moving expenses), Replacing essential tools and equipment for the parents to return to work, Replacing personal items and baby supplies lost in the fire

A young mom and dad of three small children are needing assistance with childcare for the summer. They have secured more affordable childcare but it does not begin until September. Currently childcare costs are 275.00 a week for three children (including one infant). Mom and Dad are able to pay 175 out of pocket but need help with the rest. They have been able to secure part of the money needed from friends but are still needing 800 dollars to ensure all three kids have safe childcare through the summer. In September, the cost will decrease to the point where mom and dad can afford it on their own.

The client has expressed a desire to secure employment and maintain her medical care; however, she is currently unable to meet these goals due to limited access to essential resources such as transportation and internet connectivity. The client is behind in payment for her utility bills: cable/internet ($321.91), phone ($222.20) and electricity ($118.09). A young family of 2 children ages 1 and 7 years old are requesting a dryer as they moved into a house from an apartment. The couple have been here from Venezuela for about 2.5 years and help out at Centro Cristiano a Las Naciones with leading music. They moved from an apartment which had a washer and dryer and now they need to provide for their own. The father is looking for work and does odd jobs to help pay for rent, bills, food, clothing, etc. A dryer will help mom take care of her kids so that they will be able to attend school and help their hygiene.
