A single mother of three daughters, has spent the past several months living in her car, sacrificing her own comfort to save every dollar she could toward securing stable housing for her family. Despite working full time, she made the selfless decision to have her daughters stay with relatives so they could remain safe and in school while she worked tirelessly toward their future.

Thanks to her perseverance and unwavering determination, she recently signed a lease on a home. For the first time in months, she and her daughters are back under the same roof—a huge step toward healing and stability.

However, the family moved in with virtually nothing. They are currently without beds, and the girls are sleeping on the floor.

We are requesting three beds and mattresses to help this family begin their new chapter with dignity, comfort, and hope. Your support would not only provide a safe place for these girls to rest each night—it would affirm to this hardworking mother that she is not alone, and that her courage and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed.

This family needs help paying their $5000 rent bill. They will be evicted on July 10th if they do not contribute to the total. The mother I have been working with is just returning to her job after maternity leave. There are 4 kiddos who live in this apartment who would not have somewhere to live if they are evicted. Mother and her boyfriend are now working and will be able to handle the monthly rent once it is down to a manageable amount. It was a long journey with a prolonged hospital stay prior to his passing causing financial strain. Tragically, this is their second child to die at a young age due to the same genetic condition. While in their time of grief, the family is having difficulty paying the remaining expenses due to the funeral home. The family has a remaining balance of around $2,400 but any amount of support would mean so much to this family.
