Hi! I am currently working with a family who has two of the sweetest little girls I have ever met. The girls were removed about a year ago due to ongoing concerns of substance usage in the home. The girls are currently with a kinship placement who has been providing for them without the financial support of either parent as they do not contribute much to the kids in terms of their needs. Both girls will be starting at the same school in August and they are in desperate need of all things school and school supplies related (backpack, lunch box, pencils, markers, paper, ext.). One will be going into kindergarten and the other will be going into 2nd grade. I am really hoping to alleviate some stress and help out the placement provide to ensure that the girls have everything they need to start school in August. Any help would be greatly appreciated whether it be through a gift card to allow the girls to pick out what they want or someone who would like to spend some time doing some back to school shopping for the girls. The family consists of a young mother and father. Both parents were extremely proud to be parents of their beautiful little child. This child changed their entire lives for the better, and their entire world revolved around their baby... their lives were just beginning. Recently, the unthinkable happened and these young parents lost their new baby due to a tragic accident. The young family has sustained costs they never imagined and neither are able to work due to planning the ceremony for the loss of their baby. One of the needs the family needs met at this time is the cost of their rent in the amount of $400. It is due on 07/01/25. Please consider meeting this family's need during one of the darkest seasons of their lives. I know the generosity of the community will not be forgotten once they're able to get through the darkness of this terrible time in their lives. Single father caring for two children who is struggling financially. Father was laid off from his evening job Friday 6/27 and is worried about losing his housing and car. FA is trying to get another job. One of the children has medical issues making public transportation detrimental to her health. Her exposure to the public should be limited. The family is at risk of losing their housing due to FA not being able to cover his bills. Father has been using money that would usually go to the rent to pay for the children's necessities. This one time assistance will help the father maintain his household financially.

I'm requesting $96 to help a rural, off-grid family pay for a 6-month PO Box rental — a small but vital step that will allow their one school aged child to begin homeschooling.

Without a PO Box, they can’t receive curriculum materials or set up the internet service required for learning. The family lives in a very remote area, and their income is extremely limited. Even a modest expense like this stands in the way of progress.

A teenager in foster care is needing some items for her but specifically a mirror for her room. She was recently able to move into a new home but is lacking some furniture which a majority was able to be provided except a mirror.

A singe mother of 2 with the 7 year old who has epilepsy and requires specialized treatment. During the last two months the younger child required multiple doctors visits and specialty visits to Stanford Children's Neurosurgery Center. This has put a major financial strain and hardship on the mother. With additional unforeseen costs of travel, medical bills, prescription costs, and lost time from work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to help this family with this urgent need as they are facing eviction.
