Single homeless mother of 2 who just had her foot amputated last week is in need of hotel stay for at least 2 weeks until we can get her into handicap accesible housing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

A family recently lost all their belongings in a tragic fire. They are a family of 8 with 4 adults & 4 kids (1 boy and 3 girls). Parents & grandparents lived in the home together. The kids attend Hahn Phan Tilley Elementary School in Fresno. The mother recently moved into her own place. She is the sole provider for 5 boys and is currently getting a disability check to maintain the bills in the home. This mother has done everything to get her children back and has made every step possible to ensure her children's needs are being met. The last step to help this family become successful is getting furniture so the children can thrive and flourish in the home. The mother could use all the help possible and would be grateful for anything that is provided.

We have experienced an increase in domestic violence cases the past several months, and at times we are placing kids with relatives or an abused person is staying in the home while filing an ex parte. We are hoping to get some supplies in the office to help supply some needs that could assist with safety. We plan to include a list of tips to help a family buy some time if their abuser breaks into the home. Unfortunately, we have had a few cases that could have used some extra safety measures and might have made a difference to the outcome. I am asking for a few supplies for us to be able to give to some families if needed in an emergency situations. All items can be found on amazon. Thank you!

This family we have helped before. She was removed from an abusive home and moved into Covington with her children and has struggled to make ends meet. Her apartment is now asking her to leave, but she has secured a place in Clifton but needs help moving some things to her new place. She has 2 children and has a very hard medical diagnosis that has been keeping her bills high. She will need a truck or trailer to haul some things. I have this valued at $10 because it's not really a monetary need. She has also requested to have someone sit with her to help her work out her financial budget. She is really doing her hardest to take care of her family.

A family in Prescott Valley has recently undergone financial hardships. Due to medical complications, one of the parents was not able to work and did not qualify for disability. Costs of housing and other essentials have continued to contribute to hardships. The family is managing bills with only one income. Due to limited family connections, there was not a lot of support from the family that would allow for essential items needed for the children. Additional items would give the parents peace of mind as well as relieve stressors. Additional items would increase the quality of life for these young children. A single mom with a 3 year old is working hard to give her daughter a different childhood experience than she had. After moving into their mobile home this year, the mom has done her best to make it a space where she and her daughter can bond, laugh, and feel comfortable and safe together in. One thing that the mom would really appreciate having would be a small kitchen table that she and her daughter can share meals together at Her daughter actually loves to eat fruits & veggies, and the mom wants to encourage her to continue enjoying healthy foods while also trying more proteins. Being able to sit together at a table for meals would help this mom and her daughter continue to build a healthy attachment to each other and lay the foundation of having a solid routine with family at the center. Due to the small space of the kitchen, I have selected some options that may work well in the space.
