A teenager who has been in foster care for almost two years was able to reunify with his mother this summer. This teenager is participating in tutoring throughout the summer and will continue tutoring services through the school year. He needs additional supplies to be able to effectively participate with his tutor. These items include a laptop/computer, a desk and chair, and a printer with ink and paper. These items would greatly assist with his education and continuing to progress through school. His mother is continuing to look at options where she can find these items on her own, but would greatly appreciate any support in with these items.

A dedicated relative caregiver is doing everything she can to gain placement of her nieces and nephews. She has opened her home and heart to keep the siblings together and provide them with a stable, loving environment.

However, there is one final requirement holding up the approval: her home has a pool, and to meet safety regulations, she must install a pool cover that meets the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standard F1346-91.

To be approved, the pool cover must clearly state "ASTM F1346" in its description. This is the only remaining barrier to the children being placed in her care.

Any support in helping her obtain this specific safety pool cover would make a tremendous difference in reuniting this family and ensuring the children are placed in a safe, familiar, and loving home.

I have a family of 6: a mom, dad, 6-year-old boy, 4-year-old girl, 2-year-old girl, and 6-month-old baby. The parents are not working, and they moved in with their grandparents. The 6-year-old and the 4-year-old need a twin bed and also to fit in the 1 room.

Single mother of two children in Manhattan in need of a portable AC unit. Family was just relocated from their apartment in Harlem to Midtown due to mom's medical conditions and no longer being able to live on a high floor. She does not have the funds at the moment to purchase an AC unit for the home due to the move. If this is something that the care portal team could support with, it would be greatly appreciated.

Resource Linkage is working with a family who is currently without their own housing. They are trying to locate housing of their own. Resource Linkage is requesting assistance to help with a hotel fee for a few days to get them out of this heat and in air conditioning so they can rest and feel rejuvenated. They have their dog with them so the hotel fee plus a pet fee for 5 nights is $523.00. Baymont by Wyndham in Tullahoma, TN has these nights available. Any help is appreciated!!

A previous mom we helped some time ago has stated the bed we gave is now worn. A photo was provided to show that. She would appreciate a twin bed for her son (mattress and box springs and rails, or platform frame) and a comforter. This will help her son to get the sleep he needs to be healthy and feel secure.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet. Having a bed will greatly improve the quality of life for this teenage boy. Please consider helping with this need.

There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society
