A single mother with a fifth-grade son finally moved out of the homeless shelter and into a small house. The house has no air conditioning and as summer arrives, the space is heating up. Mom and son have overcome a great deal and a window air conditioning unit would help them make their house a safe and comfortable home as they begin to rebuild their lives.

Currently working with a single mother of 4 who is re-establishing her relationship with her children. They are in need of at least 2-3 tall dressers and 3 large plastic storages containers to help the family organize clothing. The parent does not have transportation and will need the items delivered to the home.

Household composition consists of a single mother with 4 children reported to struggle with autism. During the school year the children contracted lice and have exhausted over the counter remedies and pediatric prescription lice treatment. Mother is struggling to make ends meet to be able to afford having the children treated professionally at a lice clinic.

Foster parent returned home from vacation to a water leak and broken pipe in their home. The leak is underneath a bathtub on the 2nd story. Foster Parent is in need of someone with plumbing experience to cap the water line under the bathtub so they can get the water turned back on and have running water in the home. Foster parent is willing to do the manual labor but has no plumbing knowledge.

This family we have helped before. She was removed from an abusive home and moved into Covington with her children and has struggled to make ends meet. Her apartment is now asking her to leave, but she has secured a place in Clifton but needs help moving some things to her new place. She has 2 children and has a very hard medical diagnosis that has been keeping her bills high. She will need a truck or trailer to haul some things. I have this valued at $10 because it's not really a monetary need. She has also requested to have someone sit with her to help her work out her financial budget. She is really doing her hardest to take care of her family.

Single mother of two was recently laid off due to her not having childcare. The mother was taken five-year-old child to work with her to continue to make ends meet.
