A CASA Volunteer is hoping to take his assigned youth on a special summer outing this weekend. This is something that the youth is really looking forward to, and the CASA Volunteer is trying to find fun, positive, and exciting ways for the youth to spend his free time. They are hoping to go to Boondocks Food & Fun for the day. Support with a ticket would be greatly appreciated!

We are currently serving a survivor of trafficking who is a single mom of five (all ages 5 and under). Over the past 2.5 years, her biggest priority has been her kids and making a better life for them.

This month, she is in the process of moving into a bigger place! She is moving from a two bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom house, which will be much more accommodating for her family’s unique needs.

With more space, comes the need for more furniture. We are asking for a queen size bed frame for the mom herself.

Disclaimer: She is set to move in July 1st, so we would not need the items delivered until AFTER that date due to lack of space. There is a possibility this date will move up, so please reach out to our team for the most up to date information.

We have a single Mom of a 5 yr old daughter who also is taking care of her elderly father who is a U.S. Veteran. She is in need an additional $500 to pay her landlord all the rent she owes. If she can't make this payment in full the Landlord will have them all evicted. She received a 3 day notice. We were able to raise $4000 so far but fell short $500. Please help us keep this mom and her family in their home and thank you for anything you can help with.

Hey Ya'll! We have a sibling group of 4 children in an out of home safety plan with a relative. The relative that agreed to house the children has no children of their own and could use a little help in acquiring a few supplies to help ensure the children have adequate sleeping arrangements. The family is requesting bedding for all 4 children. They need 4 twin bed sheet sets and 4 blankets. The children are 10, 9, 7, and 5 years old. 2 girls and 2 boys. Thank you for any and all help that can be provided to these children as their parents work toward reunification.

A mother has been living in her car since her child came into care. She is no longer able to live in her home due to some legal reasons. Mom is trying to secure a job and stabilize her life so that her daughter can be a part of it again. She needs a hotel room for a few days to get things in order. Thank you!

Backpacks & BBQ is an annual outreach event hosted by Middletown Nazarene Church that brings together our church, community, and local partners to support students and families preparing for the school year. We provide free backpacks, serve a full cookout-style meal, and offer a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for children in need in our community.

Each summer, hundreds of neighbors come together at our church for this day of joy and generosity. Children leave ready to start school with confidence and dignity — and families leave knowing they are seen, supported, and loved.

As part of this event, we want to provide sanitary and hygiene products for the students, so they can go back to school with confidence.

We have a dear NKT family of 6 (mom, grandma, and 4 children) who do not have beds to sleep in nor living room furniture to sit on. We want to bless this family by outfitting their home with these furniture items. We will look for good quality, previously owned items on Facebook Marketplace.

*The twin beds and bedding are for boys, all under 12 years old. *The queen bedding is for grandma/mom. *If box springs are not available, we will purchase mattress/box spring hybrids.

A single mom going through a divorce is trying to become financially independent. She currently makes very little income, and needs assistance to help pay for gas so she can drive her children to school and different activities while she looks for work.

Glocal provides for the physical needs for a new baby to be welcomed through a baby shower. We are currently out of the baby bath sets that include baby shampoo, baby lotion and diaper cream. Many stores sell these as a set or we can use the individual items and gift them to these moms that are usually having their first baby in the US. so far this year, Glocal has given showers or made deliveries to over 40 moms and we have 5 coming up next week. this will support us through the end of the summer.

If you also love baby and women, please reach out and let me know if you would host a shower. We gather the donations but we love for churches to love on these new moms by a small shower. We facilitate it and help with all the details. you provide the food, the friends and the place. thank you!
