Mother worked hard to overcome her battle with addiction and is finally being reunified with her 13yr old daughter. She is finally coming back home and could use some furniture. She has a 1-bedroom apartment.

I am reaching out to request assistance in obtaining new twin size mattresses for two foster children in our care. Unfortunately, due to frequent incidents of bedwetting, the current mattresses have developed an unpleasant odor and need thrown away.

We are hoping to ensure a comfortable and healthy sleeping environment for the children. The bed size is twin and one of the children is a female and the other is a male.

Please consider this family. Family of 5 is struggling financially. Dad is the only one who works while mom stays home with children. Children are 6 months, 2- and 6-year-old. Mom is currently going to counseling due to postpartum depression. Family is in need of some diapers size 4 and 4T-5T, wipes and baby girl clothes size 9-12 months. Family speaks Spanish. Single father caring for two children who is struggling financially specifically with rent, and gas money. Father is working two jobs but it's still having a hard time making ends meet. The additional driving to and from both jobs and transporting the children to school and daycare is adding more financial strains. Hence the need for assistance for gas money. One of the children has medical issues making public transportation detrimental to her health. Her exposure to the public should be limited. The family is at risk of losing their housing due to FA not being able to cover his bills. Father has been using money that would usually go to the rent to pay for the children's necessities. The department is helping with beds and desk for the children. This one time assistance will help the father maintain his household financially. As mentioned earlier, FA is employed ( two jobs). This family has a lot of needs and any assistance to assist this family to maintain their home is greatly appreciated.

CASA has a case with three children- ages 9 and younger. The children were removed from their parents after being locked in their room for days at a time, neglect, physical abuse, and relying on the oldest child to feed and care for the younger two. Mother also struggles with her mental health. The children are now living with their grandma in Denver, who could use help getting a few furniture items for the children such as two dressers (the two girls can share) a twin bed and twin mattress. Newly arrived Special Immigrant Visa holder family of 7 who fled from Afghanistan (US allies) is needing a bunkbed for 4 daughters to settle into a single bedroom in their 2 BR-1BA apartment this week.

Unfortunately, due to limited space in bedroom (needing to fit 2 sets of bunk beds), twin bunk beds will fit better than full bunk beds, so probably not flexible on that aspect of this request.

Depending on the bunk bed frame that you donate, we may or may not need box springs, so I didn't add those explicitly to this request.

We have a youth accepted to Georgia Gwinnett College starting in August. She will definitely need a laptop for school. Although her tuition should be covered by the state through the Independent Living Program (ILP), she will be living on campus and will have to pay her own dorm fees, ($400 per month). She will have a job on campus to try to cover those fees, but is also working now trying to save up for a car. She would greatly appreciate any and all help you could provide to set her up well to succeed at school. Please join us in praying for this youth!

Backpacks & BBQ is an annual outreach event hosted by Middletown Nazarene Church that brings together our church, community, and local partners to support students and families preparing for the school year. We provide free backpacks, serve a full cookout-style meal, and offer a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for children in need in our community.

Each summer, hundreds of neighbors come together at our church for this day of joy and generosity. Children leave ready to start school with confidence and dignity — and families leave knowing they are seen, supported, and loved.

As part of this event, we want to provide sanitary and hygiene products for the students, so they can go back to school with confidence.

We have a dear NKT family of 6 (mom, grandma, and 4 children) who do not have beds to sleep in nor living room furniture to sit on. We want to bless this family by outfitting their home with these furniture items. We will look for good quality, previously owned items on Facebook Marketplace.

*The twin beds and bedding are for boys, all under 12 years old. *The queen bedding is for grandma/mom. *If box springs are not available, we will purchase mattress/box spring hybrids.

A single mom going through a divorce is trying to become financially independent. She currently makes very little income, and needs assistance to help pay for gas so she can drive her children to school and different activities while she looks for work.
