Right now, her 14-year-old daughter is in need of a new bed. A proper bed would give her a comfortable and supportive place to rest, something that is especially important for teens navigating both academic and emotional challenges.

Additionally, the family’s microwave has stopped working, and the mother has shared how difficult it’s been to prepare quick, warm meals, something that’s often necessary when juggling medical, educational, and daily household responsibilities alone.

A 17-year-old young woman is courageously working to overcome significant mental health challenges that have deeply impacted her daily life. For a long time, her struggles left her unable to engage in even the most basic self-care, including regular hygiene, simply because she didn’t feel comfortable in her own skin.

But she is fighting to reclaim her life.

She has begun making remarkable strides in improving her hygiene and self-confidence. As part of her journey, she is in need of new clothing that fits her body and supports her sense of dignity and belonging. She currently wears a 3XL in pants and an XL in shirts. Hygiene items would also make a meaningful difference as she continues building routines that support her well-being.

Her mother, who is homebound due to medical issues and receives daily care, is unable to provide these items on her own. This family is doing their best with the resources they have, but they need our help to continue moving forward.

This request isn’t just for clothes and hygiene items... it’s an opportunity to affirm this young woman’s healing, growth, and worth.

Follow up request for two boys that JMGMC purchased clothing items for and funded their stay at summer camp after the original request (#221365) was closed as partially met.

A single mother of three daughters, has spent the past several months living in her car, sacrificing her own comfort to save every dollar she could toward securing stable housing for her family. Despite working full time, she made the selfless decision to have her daughters stay with relatives so they could remain safe and in school while she worked tirelessly toward their future.

Thanks to her perseverance and unwavering determination, she recently signed a lease on a home. For the first time in months, she and her daughters are back under the same roof—a huge step toward healing and stability.

However, the family moved in with virtually nothing. They are currently without beds, and the girls are sleeping on the floor.

We are requesting three beds and mattresses to help this family begin their new chapter with dignity, comfort, and hope. Your support would not only provide a safe place for these girls to rest each night—it would affirm to this hardworking mother that she is not alone, and that her courage and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed.

This family needs help paying their $5000 rent bill. They will be evicted on July 10th if they do not contribute to the total. The mother I have been working with is just returning to her job after maternity leave. There are 4 kiddos who live in this apartment who would not have somewhere to live if they are evicted. Mother and her boyfriend are now working and will be able to handle the monthly rent once it is down to a manageable amount. Mother has reached out to other community organizations who do not have funding to help her family at this time. Thank you so much for considering this families needs.

A singe mother of 2 with the 7 year old who has epilepsy and requires specialized treatment. During the last two months the younger child required multiple doctors visits and specialty visits to Stanford Children's Neurosurgery Center. This has put a major financial strain and hardship on the mother. With additional unforeseen costs of travel, medical bills, prescription costs, and lost time from work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to help this family with this urgent need as they are facing eviction. We would like to help reduce any additional stress that would trigger any seizures episodes from occurring from having to move. Your help will keep this young family from becoming unhoused. Hello This request is to support a family of 7 and soon to be 8 with a newborn on the way. Family recently moved from Ohio to Colorado Springs and have been living off and on in a Van since April 25th . Food, Clothing and Housing are the major needs at this time .
