Story
A family of four is requesting support with two car seats to ensure their children can be transported safely to school and around the city. The children are 5 and 2 years old. This family’s initial contact was for rental assistance due to financial hardship. They were struggling to make ends meet and were experiencing a domestic violence situation, with no household income at the time. An application for rental assistance was submitted; however, due to the 45–60-day period and the risk of eviction, the family chose not to wait .
