She is open to used clothing, to doing a thrift store trip, or a Walmart gift card. She is hopeful for any and all help, but we would like to try and get 4 shirts, 1 sweatpants, 2 jeans, one pair of black pants (black jeans preferred), a pack of black socks, and a pack of underwear. I'm estimating $200 new at Walmart, but can do thrift or used. A mother of a youth is in need of $1,150 in order to be able to pay for her rent for the month of June. Her son recently returned home with her, and she had to use the money that she had for food. She is currently facing eviction. If someone could support this request, it would positively impact her and her son.

We have a mother that is actively trying to participate in services and she just got a new job. She will have to wait for 2 weeks to get her first check. She is needing help with gas to get to and from work and to her family time visits with her son.

DHS is working with a family who has a 4year old girl. This request is for the placement and supports the child. The family resides in Greeley, but the family time is held in Colorado Springs. The placement is asking for help paying for gas. Helping this family with gas will ensure the child continues to make it for in person family time with her parent every week.

A great grandmother of her one year old granddaughter is requesting assistance with getting a car seat/stroller combo. Granddaughter enjoys going on long walks with her grandmother, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated to ensure that they can continue to enjoy family time together. Grandmother is a fixed income and retired so she has limited availability for funds.

We have been connected to a family who is fostering through DHHS. This foster family has placement of 3 little children (ages from 4-8) that they are in the process of adopting. They had their washing machine and air conditioning break down in the same week and only had the funds to replace one, so they prioritized the air conditioning for the summer heat wave we had this past week. The family had a high capacity 5.3 cu-ft top-load washing machine to be able to meet with laundry demands of their family and would like their replacement to have a similar capacity and similarly top-loading. The youngest child has some higher needs and frequently wets the bed which requires regular use of a washing machine for larger bedding items. The family consulted a technician who reported the costs of the repair for the washing machine would be at least $800 and the technician recommended buying a new one over paying for repairs. The listed cost is for a 5.3 cu-ft top-load with delivery from Lowe's.

A mom and her five children urgently need to relocate due to an escalating domestic violence situation. After leaving an abusive relationship four years ago and working hard to build a stable life, her safety has once again been compromised. She has made the decision to move to another state where she has supportive family and has already secured permission to transfer her housing voucher and end her current lease.
