A group of single moms are invited to get together and meet other ladies in the church. We would like to cover the cost of their ice-cream for this event.

We have been connected to a family who is fostering through DHHS. This foster family has placement of 3 little children (ages from 4-8) that they are in the process of adopting. They had their washing machine and air conditioning break down in the same week and only had the funds to replace one, so they prioritized the air conditioning for the summer heat wave we had this past week. The family had a high capacity 5.3 cu-ft top-load washing machine to be able to meet with laundry demands of their family and would like their replacement to have a similar capacity and similarly top-loading. The youngest child has some higher needs and frequently wets the bed which requires regular use of a washing machine for larger bedding items. The family consulted a technician who reported the costs of the repair for the washing machine would be at least $800 and the technician recommended buying a new one over paying for repairs. The listed cost is for a 5.3 cu-ft top-load with delivery from Lowe's.

We’re reaching out on behalf of a dedicated single mom who is currently caring for eight children — a mix of her own children and kinship placements. She’s stepped up in an incredible way to keep her extended family together, offering stability, love, and a sense of belonging.

But right now, they need our help.

Their only window AC unit has gone out, and with summer temperatures climbing, the heat inside their home is becoming unbearable. This family already faces so many challenges, and the lack of a working air conditioner adds unnecessary strain and discomfort.

A mom and her five children urgently need to relocate due to an escalating domestic violence situation. After leaving an abusive relationship four years ago and working hard to build a stable life, her safety has once again been compromised. She has made the decision to move to another state where she has supportive family and has already secured permission to transfer her housing voucher and end her current lease. The family would like to rent a U-haul to transport their household to their new location.A quote for the U-haul has been acquired and totals: $1,375.97 Gift cards to Walmart or Amazon ($300) would also be helpful in setting up their new home once they arrive.

Any assistance with clean, gently used or new mattresses and household essentials would make a huge difference for this family.

As the Faith-Based and Community Engagement Team prepares for the upcoming school year, we are reaching out to request your support in helping our children and youth start the year with the tools they need to succeed. We are collecting new school supplies for children served by the Rainbow Room. Items needed are backpacks, notebooks, paper, folders, pencils, pens, colors, glue, scissor etc. With your help, we can ensure that every child we serve starts the school year with confidence and the right supplies in hand.

We are working with a Single mother of four children: two girls (ages 15 and 8) and two boys (ages 10 and 5) Recently secured housing. This young lady suffers from Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes painful, pus-filled lumps deep in the skin, particularly in areas where skin rubs together. This debilitating condition has prevented her from working for over a year as medical professionals can't seem to identify a cure or offer aid to avoid flare-ups. She is working hard to establish stability, but her medical condition significantly impacts her ability to work and provide for her children's basic needs. These essential furniture items would create a more comfortable and functional living environment for the entire family during this challenging time.

Person who is new to our church is in need of various items after going through addiction recovery. The church working with this person to help him establish permanent housing, basic household and personal supplies.
