Grace's Table is supporting a teen mom who is determined accomplish her goals. The mom consistently attends programming with her infant child and invests in her peers. At just 19-years-old, she works full-time and attends a local college to prepare for a career in the medical field. Recently, her car broke down and the repair expense is significant ($1,992). She's saved money for emergencies, so she is able to pay for a significant portion of the repair. We invite you to invest in her future as she works doggedly to get ahead despite very little support from anyone outside of Grace's Table. Your support allows her to continue getting to work and school in addition to getting her child to daycare and appointments. We have a copy of the transmission repair estimate and she placed a deposit down to get the repairs underway. Bless this hustler to get her where she's going!

This mother and her children, 9 year old daughter and just turned 18 year old daughter, have been associated with WRPC for many years. She is leaving an unsafe situation due to the father's substance abuse and needs help to cover legal fees. Mom has obtained a restraining order and is working with the Branch House Family Justice Center. She has been advised by social services that Legal Aid is not the way to go because there is a waiting list and with a child involved it is more difficult for anyone to pick up the case. Any amount will help!

A single mother, recently reunified with her two young children, is in need of a new (to her) dryer. At this time, the mother is unable to keep up with the laundry due to not being able to dry it timely for her children. The mother is adjusting to being a sole provider and has identified the need for assistance in a new or used electric dryer.

This child was brought into care because of unsanitary living conditions, and the mother is disabled. This child is Nonverbal autistic teenager, and his mother is in a nursing home. We are currently requesting assistance in purchasing a gun lockbox to ensure the firearm in the home is in a safe and secure location, locked away from the child's access for safety purposes. A low income family is in need of clothes and shoes for their 11 year old son. He is quickly growing and in turn has outgrown a lot of his clothes and shoes. The child wears a size 16/18 in boys and an 8.5 men's size shoe. He needs short, pants, shirts, under garments and footwear.

Single working mom with 3 kids ages 14, 10 and 3 1/2 years old is in desperate need of temporary assistance to prevent eviction. She has previously experienced homelessness with her three minor children and is fearful of this happening again just as she was able to begin to feel secure in her new place over the past 6 months. Through no fault of her own, there was a break in pay the first week in July causing her to fall behind. The leasing company is very strict and threatening to begin eviction process, even though she has said she will have the money by the last week of this month, they want it now! The total amount needed is $2,150. Please help keep this family together in their home. Because she is gainfully employed, she will not have any problems going forward. A previous mom we helped some time ago has stated the bed we gave is now worn. A photo was provided to show that. She would appreciate a twin bed for her son (mattress and box springs and rails, or platform frame) and a comforter. This will help her son to get the sleep he needs to be healthy and feel secure.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet.
