Youth was removed from his mother's home due to unsafe conditions. Youth is diagnosed with Autism and placed with father currently. Father was working two jobs to support the child. Father's work hours have been decreased due to having to care for the youth.

Father has been self-sufficient until his hours decreased. Paperwork is in process for father to receive youth's monetary benefits and will solve the current monetary needs.

Hello, I am submitting a request to help an 18-year-old youth who recently aged out of foster care. He is currently attending a university in San Antonio, in a Supervised Independent Living placement (SIL) College dorm. This is a new location for him as his home previously has been in Houston. This is his first home that he has lived independently after living in foster homes. The youth is currently struggling with purchasing groceries. He would also greatly benefit from a bicycle to help him get to classes and to help him run errands. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Aspiranet is a social service agency that provides Foster Care, Adoption, and Transitional Aged Youth services. We have four Foster Youth aged 14-17 who are requesting gym memberships at GB3 near their Foster Home so they can workout this summer. A gym membership would allow them to be able to have a safe place to workout, improve their self-esteem, and to stay healthy. Each membership can be purchased at the specific GB3, and put under the Foster Parent's name as they are minors. The memberships are $70 each. A singe mother of 2 with the 7 year old who has epilepsy and requires specialized treatment. During the last two months the younger child required multiple doctors visits and specialty visits to Stanford Children's Neurosurgery Center. This has put a major financial strain and hardship on the mother. With additional unforeseen costs of travel, medical bills, prescription costs, and lost time from work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to help this family with this urgent need as they are facing eviction. We would like to help reduce any additional stress that would trigger any seizures episodes from occurring from having to move. Your help will keep this young family from becoming unhoused. A family with two children recently took in two dogs from their sister. The dogs almost had their sister evicted from her apartment, and now they are faced a similar dilemma. If they don't find a home for the dogs, they could be evicted. The family is looking for a home for the two dogs. They searched rescue sites and no kill shelters but hasn't received any help or support. Please help support this family by either taking in the dogs or by spreading the word.
