A hardworking single mother of four young children who is expecting another at the end of this month needs assistance with her rent and utilities for July. Her rent is roughly $1685 total with utility bills costing around $200/month (calculated after accounting for what she is able to contribute at this time).

At this time, she is unable to work and does not receive any maternity leave income so she has little financial support. She has been working diligently over the last several weeks/months to gain financial support from local agencies but has largely been met with the reply that there are no funds available.

Financial assistance towards her rent ($500) and bills ($200 to cover electricity) during this time would ensure she can focus on caring for her children and preparing for the baby's arrival rather than worrying about losing housing.

My foster parents are currently caring for a 4-year-old foster boy whose birthday is coming up. He has mastered riding his balance bike and is ready to transition to a pedal bike. However, he may soon be placed with a family member. With that in mind, could we provide a bicycle that can be gifted to him and his family?
