Request Details: A single mother of three children (ages 3 to 8) is facing an extremely difficult season. Her 8-year-old son was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is undergoing treatment, which required her to resign from her job in order to care for him full-time.

She is also currently expecting twins (a boy and a girl) and does not have any baby items or support prepared for their arrival. The financial strain of her son’s illness and loss of income has left her unable to pay her rent and utilities, now totaling $2,000, and she is at immediate risk of becoming homeless.

This mother is in urgent need of:

Housing and utility assistance ($2,000 need) Gas cards to travel to and from her son's medical appointments Newborn baby items (clothes, diapers, bottles, blankets, etc.) Your support will provide this family with stability, hope, and relief during an incredibly trying time. I’m reaching out on behalf of a single mother of three who is facing an incredibly difficult and urgent situation. Due to an issue within her apartment complex, now resolved, the family was forced to dispose of all their household belongings. This has been especially devastating, as the mother is currently unable to work and has an extremely limited income. Despite her efforts, she is struggling to replace even the most basic furnishings. Her teenage children have taken on part-time jobs to help support the family.

Currently, all four family members are sleeping on air mattresses. This is not a sustainable or healthy situation, particularly for the children, and is affecting their physical and emotional well-being.

To help restore a sense of stability, comfort, and dignity, we are seeking support in securing proper beds. The family needs:

Three twin beds (including frames, mattresses, and box springs) for an elementary-aged child, a high school student, and a 19-year-old

One full/double bed (including frame, mattress, and box spring) for the mother

Any support, whether direct assistance, referrals to partner organizations, or resource guidance—would make a meaningful difference for this family.

A caregiver is looking for support in the form of an electric stove. She is the great-aunt and primary caregiver to her two great-nieces, ages 12 and 8, and her nephew, age 10. She has had legal custody of the children since 2020, after they were removed from their mother's care. Since then, she has provided them with a stable, loving, home environment where they feel safe and cared for. Recently, the caregiver’s stove ceased functioning. She has looked for assistance locally and could not find anyone with low or no-cost appliances, so she is making do with a microwave and deep fryer to fix food at this time. She recently had her fridge break also, but was able to find a replacement for this showing her resourcefulness. We are seeking assistance in obtaining a new electric stove (typical size- around 30 inches wide by 25-27 inches deep and 36-41 inches high) to support this caregiver in her ability to provide homecooked meals for her household. A single mother of four children is currently experiencing unstable housing and has been moving between hotel rooms. Due to the cost of the rooms, they are short for one night. The mother and her children have been in their car throughout the day. Assistance is urgently needed for one night to avoid having them sleep in their car until the mother receives her paycheck. Reportedly, mother and father are currently experiencing financial hardships, and are in need of three twin sized beds or one bunkbed and one twin for the children, ages 13,10 and 8. Neither father nor mother are currently working, and the family cannot allocate funds towards a suitable bed for the children at the moment. The family is also in need of dressers for the children as their current dressers are falling apart.

A brave grandmother and grandfather need help caring for their granddaughter. They lost everything in the Eaton Fire and are still trying to resettle. Their granddaughter has been sleeping on the couch, and they really want to give her the security of having her own bed. They need a frame, mattress, and all bedding. And they really need wrap around support as they continue to fight for their family. Can you help them?

A singe mother of 2 with the 7 year old who has epilepsy and requires specialized treatment. During the last two months the younger child required multiple doctors visits and specialty visits to Stanford Children's Neurosurgery Center. This has put a major financial strain and hardship on the mother. With additional unforeseen costs of travel, medical bills, prescription costs, and lost time from work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to help this family with this urgent need as they are facing eviction. We would like to help reduce any additional stress that would trigger any seizures episodes from occurring from having to move. Your help will keep this young family from becoming unhoused. Hello This request is to support a family of 7 and soon to be 8 with a newborn on the way. Family recently moved from Ohio to Colorado Springs and have been living off and on in a Van since April 25th . Food, Clothing and Housing are the major needs at this time .
