A caregiver is looking for support in the form of an electric stove. She is the great-aunt and primary caregiver to her two great-nieces, ages 12 and 8, and her nephew, age 10. She has had legal custody of the children since 2020, after they were removed from their mother's care. Since then, she has provided them with a stable, loving, home environment where they feel safe and cared for.
Recently, the caregiver’s stove ceased functioning. She has looked for assistance locally and could not find anyone with low or no-cost appliances, so she is making do with a microwave and deep fryer to fix food at this time. She recently had her fridge break also, but was able to find a replacement for this showing her resourcefulness.
We are seeking assistance in obtaining a new electric stove (typical size- around 30 inches wide by 25-27 inches deep and 36-41 inches high) to support this caregiver in her ability to provide homecooked meals for her household.
Thank you for considering this request and for your continued support of families in need.
