Adults are acting as kinship placement to the children of a neighbor. The placed children are friends with the adults' biological children. The adults need assistance in obtaining home repair supplies (drywall and materials for handrails) and cleaning supplies. The adults would also benefit from additional assistance with food due to the expense of feeding 2 additional children.

Mother is wanting to get certified to become a home aid to bring in more money for the family. The QMAP certification cost is $130. All four of the children are all in the home with their mother.

A resilient and thoughtful youth who has endured significant challenges within her family environment. Despite these hardships, the youth has shown remarkable strength and growth, becoming an educated, respectful, and determined individual. The youth been accepted to one of UC School, where she will begin studies this fall with plans to major in Pediatric Neurology. As youth prepares for this important transition, the youth has identified a few resources that would greatly support her success both on campus and in the classroom. Any assistance that can be provided to support the youth as she pursues her educational and personal goals would be sincerely appreciated. • E-bike: to assist with getting around campus efficiently.

This is a big one but very necessary. Any amount you can donate helps! We have a former foster youth that was reunified with his family needing emergency surgery to remove his wisdom teeth. He is 19 and no longer qualifies for medicaid, but does not have the resources to cover this medically necessary procedure. Please consider funding any amount you can for this need. Thank you!

This mother and her children, 9 year old daughter and just turned 18 year old daughter, have been associated with WRPC for many years. She is leaving an unsafe situation due to the father's substance abuse and needs help to cover legal fees. Mom has obtained a restraining order and is working with the Branch House Family Justice Center. She has been advised by social services that Legal Aid is not the way to go because there is a waiting list and with a child involved it is more difficult for anyone to pick up the case. Any amount will help!

Single working mom with 3 kids ages 14, 10 and 3 1/2 years old is in desperate need of temporary assistance to prevent eviction. She has previously experienced homelessness with her three minor children and is fearful of this happening again just as she was able to begin to feel secure in her new place over the past 6 months. Through no fault of her own, there was a break in pay the first week in July causing her to fall behind. The leasing company is very strict and threatening to begin eviction process, even though she has said she will have the money by the last week of this month, they want it now! The total amount needed is $2,150. Please help keep this family together in their home. Because she is gainfully employed, she will not have any problems going forward. A previous mom we helped some time ago has stated the bed we gave is now worn. A photo was provided to show that. She would appreciate a twin bed for her son (mattress and box springs and rails, or platform frame) and a comforter. This will help her son to get the sleep he needs to be healthy and feel secure.
