We are working with a parent who recently returned to shelter with their children following a funding cut on the program assisting with their rent. This parent has worked hard to obtain job skills, obtain employment, and maintain employment despite the housing instability and low social supports they have experienced. Even in light of their recent circumstances, this parent continues to trust the Lord for provision and planning. They have an incredibly positive outlook and amazing faith in His plans.

Due to a late direct deposit and moving into shelter further from the place of employment, they are requesting two bus passes. This will enable the parent to get to and from work reliably and build up savings for a new apartment. Shelter rules don't allow children to be left attending so the second pass will be so their older child can travel with them (the younger one rides free). Will you come alongside this resilient parent to support them in strengthening their family and pouring hope into their future?

We are requesting funds to have voucher's for families that need to do a UA for us on allegations for hotlines. This is for families who might not have employment or be on disability and cannot afford the fee. Fastest Labs gives us a large discount to work with families. We are requesting 20 vouchers. I have broken the requests up in half so it might be easier to meet the need.

Mother of a medically complex child is struggling to afford her rent at this time; her daughter was inpatient at the hospital for 5 weeks due to severe illness. Mother was unable to work consistently as she was needed at bedside for her daughter. Mother is working full time trying to afford their rental payment but has fallen behind on payments. Mother's bills are adding up as she tries to support her children. Any amount would help this family during this hardship!

This family in need consists of a single mother and her (4) children ages 7 months, 3 years, 6, years, and 10 years old. The family lives in a duplex within an apartment complex that has no AC. When caseworkers were in the home it was very hot; caseworkers were sweating so bad that they had sweat dripping off their faces. The children were also sweating and were wet (visibly) from seat. The bedrooms are located upstairs, and it was a lot hotter up there. Although mom is a recipient of services from the local DSS, she still needs some help. Mom is requesting a total of 3 fans (2 for bedrooms, 1 for living room downstairs.)

This family is needing assistance with rent/deposit for a new home due to the family needing more space for a child they are taking as kinship placement after a life altering accident. The child needs more space for the medical equipment along with the ability for them to work with nursing, physical, and occupational therapist in the home. Assisting with the rent/deposit will allow the family to move and settle in to their new home, and allow the child to discharge from the hospital after being admitted for over 6 months. Any assistance is appreciated.

A blessed opportunity to help a young, Christian family make it through a very difficult time in the heat of summer. A mother and father trying to secure a roof over their young children and feed their family. Tragically, the mother just lost her baby during delivery; father had to take time off from work to take care of her. He is back working but they are behind a few paychecks.

They need help to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks while they save money to rent an apartment (the apartment isn't ready yet). They could also use help with essentials and food.

If we can help them now, it will stabilize their income and resources for the future.

A family recently had to flee their family home and move into an apartment to escape domestic violence. They are starting over and need basic cleaning items, household items, toiletries, and grocery items. A Walmart gift card would greatly assist this family. Any donation is appreciated.

Single mother is in the process of moving into more affordable housing and working to improve her financial situation. She is experiencing major health issues which make it difficult for her to work and support her middle school aged daughter. She could use some help with some utility bills this month.

We currently are fostering 3 children and want to continue to make their experience meaningful. We have a 12 year old girl who could use some basketball shoes (size 7.5) and probably extra socks. We also have a sibling set ( girl 2, boy 1) who could use some pajamas. She wears 3T and he’s in 18month. Diapers and wipes are always needed. Thank you so much!

There is a single mom within our community who is in great need of assistance. She has two little children (girl -2, boy-1) and is expected to deliver her 3rd child. She has no items for the baby which is expected to be delivered in 1 week. We are trying to provide her with love and support during this crises. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. She is in need of an infant carseat, crib/bassinette/playyard, wipes, diapers, clothing for newborn girl (sleepers/onesies), receiving blankets, bottles,(carseat stroller). Please pray for this mom and her children.
