The referred family is requesting assistance obtaining twin size bed for their child. The resource parent’s granddaughter is a 15-year-old with an intellectual disability. The resource parents care for her granddaughter on a permanent basis and is in the process of adopting her. The resource parent is attentive to her granddaughters needs and expresses her joy in caring for her. The resource parent is on a limited income and is an urgent need of a twin size bed for her granddaughter. The resource parent resides in a studio apartment with her granddaughter and is kindly request these items to continue proving a comfortable and adequate home environment. The family would appreciate any help and want to explore all the options to make the child as comfortable as possible at home.

A youth is placed with his grandmother and they need groceries for the weekend. She had an appointment with the food bank and missed the appointment because her ride canceled last minute. The Department is going to help her apply for SNAP benefits also. They need groceries and not a gift card.

I have a mom who just started her trial home visit and daycare won’t start till later in the month. Because daycare won’t start Monday, this mom is having to miss work and her job has really been understanding but she can’t miss 11 days of work. She is needing help with self pay until state pay kicks in.

Our Bio Family has been trying to reunite since 2023. The hard work has accomplished the beginning of trial reunification, and they need assistance with a bunk bed and some bedding. A set of bunk beds, twin over twin, to share and possibly some bedding for a woman and girl would be appreciated as well. This family has really worked hard in achieving this goal and it has been a team effort for this reunification to progress as well as it has. The family will be starting trial reunification in a temporary living situation with a relative so that they can continue to save money for their own residence. Assistance with any items in this request would be greatly appreciated!

Family is on East Missouri Action Agency LIHEAP/Energy Assistances, but due to the holidays and them being out, mother wasn't able to reach them to get funds on her electric account. Mother electric got shut off at 11:00 AM on 07/03/2025. There are 3 children in the household, one of which is on a trial home visit with her. Mother is $4 negative in her account and then since it has been shut off there is a $25 fee to get it turned on, which would be added to the account. Requesting assistances of $29.

A blessed opportunity to help a young, Christian family make it through a very difficult time in the heat of summer. A mother and father trying to secure a roof over their young children and feed their family. Tragically, the mother just lost her baby during delivery; father had to take time off from work to take care of her. He is back working but they are behind a few paychecks.

They need help to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks while they save money to rent an apartment (the apartment isn't ready yet). They could also use help with essentials and food.

If we can help them now, it will stabilize their income and resources for the future.

A family recently had to flee their family home and move into an apartment to escape domestic violence. They are starting over and need basic cleaning items, household items, toiletries, and grocery items. A Walmart gift card would greatly assist this family. Any donation is appreciated.

Single mother is in the process of moving into more affordable housing and working to improve her financial situation. She is experiencing major health issues which make it difficult for her to work and support her middle school aged daughter. She could use some help with some utility bills this month.

We currently are fostering 3 children and want to continue to make their experience meaningful. We have a 12 year old girl who could use some basketball shoes (size 7.5) and probably extra socks. We also have a sibling set ( girl 2, boy 1) who could use some pajamas. She wears 3T and he’s in 18month. Diapers and wipes are always needed. Thank you so much!

There is a single mom within our community who is in great need of assistance. She has two little children (girl -2, boy-1) and is expected to deliver her 3rd child. She has no items for the baby which is expected to be delivered in 1 week. We are trying to provide her with love and support during this crises. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. She is in need of an infant carseat, crib/bassinette/playyard, wipes, diapers, clothing for newborn girl (sleepers/onesies), receiving blankets, bottles,(carseat stroller).
