Story
Single pregnant mother of 2 girls ages one and five and a 3 year old boy in need of diapers, wipes, hygiene products and household supplies to help her assist with meeting the basic needs of her family. Mother has a utility shut off notice for her electric to be disconnected on 7-8. Mother can utilize the money saved on assistance with these tangible items and pay the electric bill that is now 1000. Mother is a full time employee as a dietary aid at a skilled nursing facility, but due to her hours decreasing, she is struggling to meet the basic needs of her family. She is a high risk pregnancy and is actively working with a case manager to assist with resources and programs to assist. She has applied for WIC assistance and has been referred to Life Services programs to help with obtaining better paying employment to help sustain her growing family.
