Story
A mother of 7 children who are currently living with mom, but in a shelter. Previously, the mother had lost custody of 6 of her children but has since been reunified with them all since March of 2025. The mother also recently gave birth to a new baby at the end of April of 2025, and has been on maternity leave since. She is a single mom who is currently employed, however does not have the resources to afford essential household items in her new home. While she is employed, she has not been working since the birth of her new child.
The mother who was recently homeless, is currently residing with her 7 children at Salvation Army transitional shelter. The mother was just awarded a 3 bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment as part of the shelter program the family resides in and is expected to move into the new home by the end of the week. The family is in need of assistance with various items to allow the family to have proper and basic resources to establish normalcy and routine. The mother has made great strides to regain and maintain custody of her children, but she is in need of support to assist her in continuing strengthening her parental capabilities. Children are: 13 y/o male, 11 y/o male, 9 y/o female, 8 y/o male, 4 y/o female, 3 y/o female, 2 mos female Items needed: 5 new twin bedding sets, child, Queen bedding set, TV, 2 bathroom rug sets.
