One of our moms has a 5 month old baby girl that sleeps a lot better in a baby swing - and gives our teen mama some rest as she does other things around the house during naps. She doesn't have any "safe" sleep places currently for her baby other than her own bed, but she fell off once during a nap. She has no support and does everything on her own, so this would be such a gift to her to have for her baby!

The Mitchell family has 7 teenagers from the ages of 13-18 years old with a single dad who is working overtime to provide for all his children. A family from our team is taking a little girl who needs a safe place, whom we met through our CarePortal connection with the Yada Project. This sweet 3-year-old is full of energy and joy. This placement has come up very unexpectedly, and we would love to come alongside this family as they see what God is doing. Some helpful items would be a toddler stroller that is easy to fold, a toddler bed with bedding, 4T summer/fall clothes for a little girl, and size 10 sandals. She loves purple, pink, and anything "pretty." Gently used is fine. Additionally, if anyone has any extra toys lying around that they would like to give away:).

This family has secured an apartment but cannot afford to fully furnish it. Dad, recently lost his job, rent is paid for this month. They need a sofa, beds, kitchen utensils, and the basic items for living. The children are ages 9 and 4, and grandma lives with them as well. They've been coming to Lighthouse Church as a result of using the pantry on site.

A blessed opportunity to help a young, Christian family make it through a very difficult time in the heat of summer. A mother and father trying to secure a roof over their young children and feed their family. Tragically, the mother just lost her baby during delivery; father had to take time off from work to take care of her. He is back working but they are behind a few paychecks.

They need help to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks while they save money to rent an apartment (the apartment isn't ready yet). They could also use help with essentials and food.

If we can help them now, it will stabilize their income and resources for the future.

A family recently had to flee their family home and move into an apartment to escape domestic violence. They are starting over and need basic cleaning items, household items, toiletries, and grocery items. A Walmart gift card would greatly assist this family. Any donation is appreciated.

Single mother is in the process of moving into more affordable housing and working to improve her financial situation. She is experiencing major health issues which make it difficult for her to work and support her middle school aged daughter. She could use some help with some utility bills this month.
