CPR Certification for 17-Year-Old Youth Seeking Employment Description of Need:A 17-year-old male youth in foster care is requesting community support to complete CPR certification in order to apply for a job in the food service industry. This training is a required qualification for the position he is pursuing and reflects his motivation to become more independent and self-sufficient. Who Needs Help:One 17-year-old male currently in foster care. What Do They Need: Enrollment in a certified CPR/First Aid training course (either in-person or virtual).Support covering the training registration fee and certificate processing. What Happens If This Need Is Met: Meeting this need will equip the youth with a life-saving skill, increase his employability, and provide him with a meaningful opportunity to begin earning income and gaining work experience. It will boost his confidence and help him take a major step toward adulthood and financial independence.
