It's been asked that youth obtains a phone so that he is able to maintain contact with his caseworker, legal team, and grandparents. Youth relies on kin-like placement to handle phone calls and there are times when professionals on the case have a hard time getting in touch with the youth. Youth needs a phone so that he can call his professional team and accept calls.

Resource is a single mother who is caring for her nieces and nephews. Resource has 7 growing children in the home and appreciates any help with clothing and shoes, as the children are constantly needed new clothes. Resource is looking for tall dressers, as space is limited. The dressers are for the boys, although she is not picky on color or style.

FCDSS is working with a single father who has struggled with addiction. As a result of his substance use, homelessness and other barriers his children were placed into foster care. He has struggled with his substance use. He has struggled with maintaining employment due to lack of transportation. The agency held a family partnership meeting to discuss barriers, needs and ways to meet and overcome these challenges. Since this father does not have valid license, the team suggested a bicycle or electric bicycle as a means of transportation, and he is willing to utilize anything to help him be mobile for his substance use treatment and employment. He has shown motivation and willingness to engage in services. FCDSS is asking if there are any churches that have a bicycle that is not being used that would be willing to be donated or even an electric bicycle.

A single mom has secured housing mid July. She has 3 young children. She currently is employed and is attending a Bible study regularly. She has mentors set up to walk with her moving forward. She has saved and is 400 short on initial move in expenses.
