The client’s mother reported experiencing financial strains, which caused distress within the family. Mom takes on full financial responsibility for the children, and there have been many unexpected bills that have contributed to a recent financial strain. The client resides with his mother, father, and older brother. The caregiver reported ongoing behavioral challenges for the client across settings at home, in public, and at school that have become increasingly difficult to manage. In response to these challenges, the caregiver is requesting specific items to support the client’s emotional and behavioral regulation, such as an Oral Motor Kit, Oral Sensory Tools, a Yoto mini, Sensory toys, and Finger painting supplies. Support from CarePortal will promote emotional regulation, enhance the child’s coping strategies, and increase the family’s ability to manage challenging behaviors more effectively and safely. *****NOTE: “This request is being submitted by the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County on behalf of the client.
