A bio mom is starting her recovery journey. She does not have a way of transportation but that did not stop her from getting a job to be able to provide for herself and her children. She is currently walking to work every morning, and she lives 4.6 miles away. A bicycle will be a huge support for her until she can get on her feet and get something more reliable. Any type, no preferences but maybe a light reflector in case is dark. Does not need to be new either if it works. Thanks in advance.

We have a family that has taken a child into their care and is need of diapers, wipes and baby clothes for a little girl. (6/9 months). The caregivers are working with the Kinship program to become licensed foster parents. Once they become licensed, they will receive a stipend for the child and will be able to provide for the basic needs for the child in their care. The family would greatly appreciate your help.

We’re seeking community support for a dedicated mother working hard to reunify with her children and build a better future. She recently moved to Clovis from Chaves County in search of stability and has already secured part-time work with a home care company while completing her training. Her long-term partner is also working toward employment.

She was recently approved for a Trial Home Visit (THV) with three of her four children—a hopeful step forward. Her oldest remains in residential treatment, but she’s meeting her goals, testing clean, and staying in regular contact with her CASA advocate and CYFD worker. She’s committed to creating a safe, loving home for her family.

However, her home lacks air conditioning—a serious concern during the hot summer months. Of the four bedrooms and shared living/dining space, only two rooms have windows that can hold AC units. She’s asking for two window units to help keep her children cool and comfortable as they transition home.

A youth I am working with is in need of a laptop of his own. His preference is a refurbished Mac Book but he is grateful for anything that allows him to connect to the Internet and has video/virtual capabilities so he can participate in virtual family therapy sessions with his mom.

The Denver Human Services' GIVE Center is in urgent need of 3T/4T Pull-Ups for the children and families we serve. Each year, the GIVE Center supports nearly 4,000 clients who rely on us for essential, emergency resources—including diapers. Many of the parents and caregivers who visit the GIVE Center struggle to access diapers due to financial hardship, especially as diaper prices continue to rise. Ensuring these families have access to the right diaper sizes helps protect the health and well-being of their children. With your support, families will be able to leave the GIVE Center with exactly what they need.

A single mom has secured housing mid July. She has 3 young children. She currently is employed and is attending a Bible study regularly. She has mentors set up to walk with her moving forward. She has saved and is 400 short on initial move in expenses.

A Karen family that has been recently able to move into a house now has the fun of doing the yard work. They really could use a lawn mower to help them. if you have a new or a used one that runs well, please consider donating it to them.

Two youths who aged out are in need of storage space as they're in temporary housing with an old foster parent, a queen bed, and an air conditioner.

A family that received a crib for a kinship placement could use a kitchen table, chairs, and a couch. This will help the family with ongoing needs.
