We have a young man that has been through a lot in the past two years he has been in care. He has made some poor choices and he's made some wonderful choices along the way. Right now he has decided that once he ages out, he would like to join the military and he feels that the best path for him from here to there is to attend Thunderbird Academy. He impressed everyone at his interview and has been accepted for admission and he will begin attending on July 20. Thunderbird has provided us with an extensive and extremely specific list of clothing items and supplies that he will need to bring with him. Any help that can be provided in obtaining these items for him would be incredibly appreciated. I can provide details to anyone interested. Thank you so much!

The happiest 8th month old you've ever seen is flourishing in his foster placement while mom works hard to get everything in order so that he can return home to her. These amazing foster parents have welcomed mom into their family and do all of their own visits together. Baby boy has had some health issues stemming from birth and he is on a specialized formula that is prohibitively costly. Foster mom has availed herself of every resource imaginable and does utilize WIC but she is still about three cans short for the month. The formula is Neocate Infant Formula and it is about $46 per can at Walmart. If anyone could help with this need to get through the month it would be an enormous blessing!

We have a family in the church that has recently taken a kinship placement of their niece who is 18 months old. They are in need of a convertible car seat. If you have one to give or would like to help purchase one please let me know. Lets wrap around this family and bless them.

A single dad with one child needs financial assistance to cover the rest of his rent, or they will be evicted. He has worked hard over the past year to better himself, and continues on a positive path. He and his daughter are working towards moving to more affordable housing. He is working full time and will be self-sustaining after this assistance.

A single mom, of a beautiful little 4 year old girl is in need of help. She was in our program, after being homeless for a year, living in her car and after a year at SFTSM, she graduated October, 2024. Apartment rent is high, at $1,800 and her FoodShare and medical has been denied, stating that she makes too much money, even though her paychecks barely cover her rent. She worked on earning her GED while at SFTSM, but was a math test short before she moved out...she didn't forget her goal and as of last week is a GED holder! She did it! At 26 years old, while holding down a full-time job and raising a beautiful and smart little mini-her. Her biggest win, was while at SFTSM, she found Jesus and accepted Him into her life, being baptized! She only needs a little help. She's behind on rent, because of food costs, so help with food. She recently asked for a desk, so she could study not only her Bible, but for the ASVAB, as it's her lifelong goal to enter the military, we supplied her the desk, but she's in need of a computer chair and then some help with gas. A single mom of 2 boys (ages 1 & 3); has been in the USA on a VISA for 7+ years. Came to SFTSM after living in her car for 6 months with her boys. We renewed her VISA back in December, but waiting for the renewal yet. She has gone to school for nursing as well as construction. She's having a REALLY hard time finding consistent work without her VISA and is on the verge of losing her car. We've helped her with a couple of months already, but without consistent work, she's behind again. She has been interviewing left and right for jobs and she is on the verge of working now, but it's just not in time to make July's car payment. She can't lose her vehicle, not only for the 2 little boys to get to daycare, appointments, but now with starting work soon, she needs it more than ever. This vehicle will continue to set her up for success and needs it to better her future; without reliable transportation, she would only be going backwards. We're working on securing funds for August and potentially September's car payments as well, so that even though she should be working by then, she has other debts to pay off and a couple of months of a car payment would just set her up nicely; we've applied for (2) different grants through other organizations. Gas cards to Kwik Trip would also be greatly appreciated.

There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society

Grace Bible has been connected with a family currently in the adoption process who is in need of assistance. The caregiver has taken placement of his brother’s two children, and the family is moving towards adoption. They have requested assistance with a portion of their electric bill this month. The family has paid a portion of the bill, but has requested assistance with covering the remaining portion.

A single mom has secured housing mid July. She has 3 young children. She currently is employed and is attending a Bible study regularly. She has mentors set up to walk with her moving forward. She has saved and is 400 short on initial move in expenses.

A Karen family that has been recently able to move into a house now has the fun of doing the yard work. They really could use a lawn mower to help them. if you have a new or a used one that runs well, please consider donating it to them.
