The caregiver is doing a great job of caring for the child's needs however, with bills, added daycare expenses and groceries the caregiver is in need of assistance with ensuring the child has everything he needs for this upcoming school year. I have a family on my case with multiple youth who are placed in different homes. They do not have access to technology and are only able to communicate during sibling visits once a month. They have shown interest in becoming pen pals and writing postcards to the other sibling. Caregiver is asking for support to help her kinship child with attending a Trade School this fall. The kinship child has been accepted to the Cosmetology Program at Mid East Career and Technology. The fee to attend this program is $1,000. The family has an option to make payments in five installments with the first payment due on August 1. The caregiver would appreciate any help as another child is beginning at a private University in the fall and the charges to attend are a substantial amount. A previous mom we helped some time ago has stated the bed we gave is now worn. A photo was provided to show that. She would appreciate a twin bed for her son (mattress and box springs and rails, or platform frame) and a comforter. This will help her son to get the sleep he needs to be healthy and feel secure.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet. There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society
