After visiting my client today, she was extremely overwhelmed and worried due to experiencing financial hardship. She has been out of work since May and is now behind on a month's rent of $1450. She has exhausted all funds and does not have any other way or support to help out. She lives alone with herself and children. The client has 4 children to include a 6 yr old girl, a 2 yr old boy and a set of twins (boy and girl) that are 1 1/2 yrs old. The client advised she has reached out to other agencies but was not able to get any help at this time. The father of the children is not in the picture either due to being incarcerated. The mother advised she is worried and experiencing anxiety about losing her place because she and the children has been homeless before. She has been threatened with an eviction notice already. When this need is met, the client will be able to feel content and secure within her home with her 4 young children. She will be able to pay the rent and provide a more secure sense of wellbeing and safety for the children.

The family is also needing help with rental assistance for the month of July. All four of the children are all in the home with their mother. Mother has just started back working and has asked for assistance with her rent for this month to help her get back on track with her bills.

A devoted caregiver is caring for a 14 year old girl. We're hoping to find a generous donor willing to provide a Walmart gift card to help with groceries. With a family of four to support and no initial reimbursement received yet, this assistance would help bridge the gap and ensure the child’s immediate needs are met. We would appreciate any help! Mother is a single parent who is seeking employment. She has gotten behind on utilities and is need of bedding, clothing, and cleaning supplies for her family.

A Provider who has taken in her grandson is on low income and is in need of Diapers for the child. The provider has a strict income and is running out of diapers and does not have the funds to purchase more at this time until she gets paid. The provider is asking for size 3 diapers for the child or $100 Walmart gift card to help with purchasing diapers for the month. The provider is thankful for any help that is received. Thank you

The Holmes Family, who we have helped before, when 6 kids were adopted by their mother’s sisters, continues to grow and thrive! So their needs have also changed. They have moved into a new home and need the following items.

A sibling set of four brothers (13, 11, 8, and 5) are working toward moving in with a family member who has been identified as their adoptive resource. This family member is from out of state, but is staying here locally while things get ironed out with the boys' case. She is needing assistance with the costs of an extended hotel stay while next steps are made more clear.

We have a family in the church that has recently taken a kinship placement of their niece who is 18 months old. They are in need of a convertible car seat. If you have one to give or would like to help purchase one please let me know. Lets wrap around this family and bless them.

This single mom of two boys has been unemployed after the birth of her second child who is now 4 months old. She also has a 2.5 yr old at home who was recently diagnosed with autism. Their father is absent due to legal troubles and she is not receiving child support at this time. She got a job offer yesterday and accepted so will be starting to work again this week. Her natural supports are few as her mother struggles with addiction. She is very grateful for the help of her grandmother who assists with childcare. She and her children have been living in a 1 bdrm apt and have been approved for a 2 bedroom but are lacking resources for the security deposit. She has a mattress on the floor but would love a bed frame for it to provide more comfort, and she is ready to transition her 2.5 year old son to a twin bed, which will allow them all to have a better nights rest. Security deposit and Bed items are priorities. She would love to have a table and chair set for her son to eat at and bar stools so she can eat at the kitchen counter. This is a church vetted request that originated at the North Side DCC campus. She is very willing to accept a visit from our team to provide encouragement and spiritual support. Referrals to helping agencies have been made as well. Provision for these needs will provide relief from a crowded and stressful living situation, as well as restful nights sleep for the family as they navigate their challenges.
