We are requesting support on behalf of a 43-year-old grandmother who has become the primary caregiver for her 6-month-old grandson and 2.5-year-old granddaughter. The children were unexpectedly left in her care by her teen daughter, and she has not received any outside support or resources to help meet their basic needs.

This kinship caregiver is doing her best to provide stability and safety for the children, but she is in urgent need of the following essential items:

Double Stroller: Suitable for both an infant and toddler, to safely transport both children to medical appointments, grocery trips, and daily outings.

Clothing for 6-month-old boy: Sizes 6–9 months (onesies, sleepers, shorts, pants, socks, etc.)

Clothing for 2.5-year-old girl: Sizes 5T–6 (tops, bottoms, pajamas, socks, etc.)

Shoes for toddler girl: Size 8 (toddler)

Any assistance from the community to help meet these needs would be deeply appreciated. Your support will help this caregiver continue providing for these young children in a safe and nurturing environment.

The child is currently in a kinship placement. She has been kicked out of 3 daycares and has been going to work with her caregiver. We will be going to trial next week, and caregivers will need to be in attendance to testify. This camp would relieve the caregiver at trying to find somewhere for her to go while we are at trial. The kiddo needs all day activities to keep her busy and regualted.

We have a 4 year old boy in foster care who has significant developmental delays and has been exhibiting behaviors associated with PICA. Child has been chewing on his wooden crib in the middle of the night and as a result has been getting splinters in his mouth. Caretaker is actively trying to address the issue, but the child continues to find a way and the behavior continues. We are looking for a metal crib to hopefully stop this behavior and save the child from any damage/pain to his mouth. There is a specific crib that we feel would be best for this particular child due to the high back of the crib and his history of trying to escape and would be able to get out of doors. The crib is a Delta Children Hayden 5-in-1 Convertible Metal Crib which can be found on Amazon. If anyone is able to assist us in obtaining this crib for this child, it would be greatly appreciated.

Having to move unexpectedly, stay in a hotel for some time, put a security deposit down on a new place, and cover end of life expenses for a family member who died without health insurance has given this family an extreme financial burden. On top of all of this, while behind on many bills, this mothers refrigerator broke, leaving her unable to store healthy food and leading to even more undue costs and forcing them to not always eat healthily. She has been unable to purchase one as she is behind on all her bills, please consider helping this hard working mother, her disabled son, and her granddaughter.

62263940-A devoted and loving caregiver is currently raising her 13-year-old niece, providing her with a safe, stable, and nurturing home. Despite facing many challenges, she remains unwavering in her commitment to the child’s well-being.

Welcoming her niece into her home has also brought unexpected financial strain. She is currently in need of a mattress and dresser to ensure her niece has a comfortable, dignified space of her own. These may seem like small things, but they are essential in helping a young girl feel truly at home and supported.

A sibling set of four brothers (13, 11, 8, and 5) are working toward moving in with a family member who has been identified as their adoptive resource. This family member is from out of state, but is staying here locally while things get ironed out with the boys' case. She is needing assistance with the costs of an extended hotel stay while next steps are made more clear.

We have a family in the church that has recently taken a kinship placement of their niece who is 18 months old. They are in need of a convertible car seat. If you have one to give or would like to help purchase one please let me know. Lets wrap around this family and bless them.

This single mom of two boys has been unemployed after the birth of her second child who is now 4 months old. She also has a 2.5 yr old at home who was recently diagnosed with autism. Their father is absent due to legal troubles and she is not receiving child support at this time. She got a job offer yesterday and accepted so will be starting to work again this week. Her natural supports are few as her mother struggles with addiction. She is very grateful for the help of her grandmother who assists with childcare. She and her children have been living in a 1 bdrm apt and have been approved for a 2 bedroom but are lacking resources for the security deposit. She has a mattress on the floor but would love a bed frame for it to provide more comfort, and she is ready to transition her 2.5 year old son to a twin bed, which will allow them all to have a better nights rest. Security deposit and Bed items are priorities. She would love to have a table and chair set for her son to eat at and bar stools so she can eat at the kitchen counter. This is a church vetted request that originated at the North Side DCC campus. She is very willing to accept a visit from our team to provide encouragement and spiritual support. Referrals to helping agencies have been made as well. Provision for these needs will provide relief from a crowded and stressful living situation, as well as restful nights sleep for the family as they navigate their challenges.

There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society
