Client is beginning overnight visits with her 3 children after almost a year of being separated. Her first overnight visit is 07/24. She is needing clothes for her three children.

1 yo boy - size 12-18 months

3 yo boy - size 3t, shoe size 9

6 yo boy - size 6, shoe size 1

The household consists of a single mother and her three children—two boys, ages 11 and 6, and a 5-month-old daughter. The mother is incredibly resilient and has navigated many challenges throughout her journey in motherhood. At present, she is unemployed and under significant stress due to the father's absence from the home and his lack of support, particularly in caring for their 6-year-old son, who has been diagnosed with autism and requires high levels of care. The family lives in a single-family home with very worn furniture and limited clothing. Currently, the mother shares a mattress with both of her sons and her infant daughter. To help improve their living conditions and promote the children’s safety and comfort, the Department would like to assist the family in obtaining the following items: a trundle bed. Providing these basic necessities would not only ease the mother’s emotional and financial burdens but also allow the children to have their own beds, helping them get proper rest to start their days well. The family is really in need of the bed and bedding.

A mother of 5 needs assistance with beds for her children. One of the children has severe diabetes and had to hospitalized. The other children are staying with friends. The home needs to be furnished with safe sleep furniture but space is limited. Due to having growing teenagers in the home (4), she needs two queen beds and two twin beds.

We have a client who recently came to us. She has custody of her one year old daughter. She is in need of a high chair. She has been employed by our organization for several months, but only recently moved into our housing.

I am hoping to gather some dorm supplies for a student in great need. She has been working so hard to build this next chapter to be her best yet! I am so proud of what she has overcome to get here and can't wait to see where life takes her!! This young lady has been out on her own without her parents for the majority of her senior year and still continued to work full time while attending high school, participating in sports and graduating with honors, finishing in the top 21 in her class! She has been awarded more than $10,000 in college scholarships to put toward her nursing degree!

Her hopes for her dorm room include: Mini Fridge (must be 5.5 cubic feet/1.5 amps or less), Air Purifier, Oil Diffuser, Stick type vaccum, Over the door type mirror, 2 wide plastic drawers for under her bunk, Wire rack shelving - something to hold fridge & microwave, Twin XL bedding - mattress pad & protector, sheets/comforter, etc. College school supplies - pens, pencils, highlighters, etc.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet. Having a bed will greatly improve the quality of life for this teenage boy. Please consider helping with this need.

Hello, We are requesting funds for backpacks, water bottles and school supplies for 3 kiddos in one of our Fostering Together kinship homes. Please consider donating any amount to help prepare these littles for kindergarten and and 1st grade. Thank you for your generosity! -Courtney

One of our favorite Wooddale Staff is needing to move to California for family reasons and needs our Helping Hands at her home, preferably the week of July 21 and all work completed by July 27. The following needs to be addressed are listed:

1.) there is a decent sized hole in the drywall that needs filling (from my mom’s oxygen tank)

2.) help with weeding planter beds and trimming shrubs

There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society
