🛏️ Beds are the #1 request on our network. Thanks to a generous donation from the University of Florida, we have 30 complete twin beds—ready to bless families in need (frames and mattresses). These beds are currently stored in our CarePortal Gainesville storage facility and are ready to be delivered—but we need zippered mattress covers to ensure they are long-lasting for every child who receives one. 🧼✨

A mother and her two young daughters (ages 3 and 6 months) recently relocated to Collin County for safety reasons and are currently living in their car. Mom has secured a job and childcare but urgently needs gas assistance to get to work and daycare each day. Supporting this need will help the family maintain stability and move closer to permanent housing. Any help with gas cards or fuel support would be greatly appreciated.

A ten years old girl is being placed in the care of her maternal grandmother due to both parents being incarcerated. The grandmother is disabled and on a fixed income and unable to cover these needed items.

Pants, pajamas, shoes, socks, underwear, shampoo, bath soap, toothpaste, deodorant and conditioner.

This devoted mother of three is doing everything she can to keep her children safe, warm, and off the streets. Currently living in a hotel, she works tirelessly cleaning homes to provide for her family, often prioritizing their needs above her own. Right now, she has enough money to cover only one more night, and after that, she and her children will have nowhere to go. She’s not asking for much—just enough support to bridge the gap and maintain a roof over their heads. With your help, she can secure a few more days of safety and stability while she works to get back on her feet. Every little bit brings her closer to hope and further away from crisis.

A kin placement who took a boy (DOB: 9/30/2021), a boy (DOB: 5/12/2019), and a girl (DOB:7/15/2009) under emergency circumstances, is in need of assistance. Taking the children into her home significantly increased household expenses, especially grocery costs. Provider unexpectedly had her food stamps stolen and was told she may not receive her benefits again until August. She is concerned about keeping enough food in the house until her financial support kicks in. A gift card for groceries in the amount of $300 from Walmart of King Soopers would be a huge blessing for her to ensure the children are always fed. Thank you in advance for your consideration!

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet. Having a bed will greatly improve the quality of life for this teenage boy. Please consider helping with this need.

One of our favorite Wooddale Staff is needing to move to California for family reasons and needs our Helping Hands at her home, preferably the week of July 21 and all work completed by July 27. The following needs to be addressed are listed:

1.) there is a decent sized hole in the drywall that needs filling (from my mom’s oxygen tank)

2.) help with weeding planter beds and trimming shrubs

There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society
