We are reaching out on behalf of a dedicated single mother who is doing everything she can to provide a stable and loving home for her 15-year-old son. She works tirelessly to cover the essentials—rent, food, transportation—but like so many families, the extra costs of summer activities just aren’t possible right now.

Her son has an opportunity to attend summer camp this year—something he is genuinely excited about. This camp would provide him with a safe space to grow, explore, and make memories that every young person deserves. It’s more than just a camp; it’s a chance for joy, connection, and new experiences.

Unfortunately, this family is in need of some basic summer essentials in order for him to participate fully. They are humbly asking for help with:

We are reaching out on behalf of a newly referred family from Children’s Hospital Colorado. This family is currently experiencing a housing crisis and is in the process of relocating to a shelter. At this time, one of their most urgent needs is safe transportation for their children, ages 6, 5, and 4 years old.

The family is not yet enrolled in SafeCare services but is being actively supported through our intake process. They are facing numerous challenges and are doing their best to provide safety and stability for their children.

We are requesting the following items to support their safe relocation to temporary housing: • 2 high-back booster seats (for the 6- and 5-year-olds) • 1 forward-facing car seat with a 5-point harness (for the 4-year-old)

Any assistance or donation of these items would have an immediate and meaningful impact on this family’s ability to safely transport their children and access shelter resources.

There is a sibling group of 4 who have been living long term in an office due to their level of disability and our inability to find foster placement willing to take them. All 4 are non verbal and autistic. We are hoping to get some sensory, fidget and interactive toys such as: squishy balls, pop its, bendy tubes, spinners, wooden puzzles, fake foods like fruits and veggies, eggs etc, flash cards, leap pads with books to be read along with, busy boards/busy books, montessori toys, light up toys, interactive books on planets and animals, etc to help these children regulate in an office setting. Ages of the children range from 8 to 17. Any help would be really appreciated! Either an outright purchase by a donor of any/all listed items or a gift card would be wonderful. Additionally, we are hoping to get each child a weighted blanket. The constant changes in staff, other children coming in and out and the general environment not being a home dysregulates the children at times and they will bite or hit or run and try to escape the building. The mother has limited resources at this time and needs assistance with a stroller and a newborn car seat. The family would greatly benefit from a car seat for her newborn and stroller for her 2-year-old due to mother having to walk to appointments. Your support and generosity are deeply appreciated. I have parents who are working on getting their kids back, but have ran into an issue with their foodstamps to where they aren't able to get any food for this month. These parents could really use some help to get them by while we work on efforts to get their food stamps issue fixed. Finances are tight and they don't want to bring their kids home to a home with no food. please help if able. I know the family would very much appreciate any assistances.

Mother had her items stolen, including her phone. She has been working hard to get back on her feet for the sake of her daughter. A previous mom we helped some time ago has stated the bed we gave is now worn. A photo was provided to show that. She would appreciate a twin bed for her son (mattress and box springs and rails, or platform frame) and a comforter. This will help her son to get the sleep he needs to be healthy and feel secure.

PLEASE NOTE: RISE CHURCH CAN MEET THIS NEED WITH A BED WE ALREADY HAVE IN OUR INVENTORY. NO FURTHER DONATIONS ARE NEEDED.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet. Having a bed will greatly improve the quality of life for this teenage boy. Please consider helping with this need.

One of our favorite Wooddale Staff is needing to move to California for family reasons and needs our Helping Hands at her home, preferably the week of July 21 and all work completed by July 27. The following needs to be addressed are listed:

1.) there is a decent sized hole in the drywall that needs filling (from my mom’s oxygen tank)

2.) help with weeding planter beds and trimming shrubs
