Story
The client is a young mother who recently gave birth and is working hard to care for her newborn despite facing significant financial hardship. Her Social Security benefits were recently cut, leaving her without a stable income or access to necessities. Both she and her baby would greatly benefit from support with essential items, such as food, hygiene products, baby clothes (0-6 months), and supplies. Baby laundry detergent, baby's toys, essential items, including food such as milk, bread, rice, fruits, and vegetables; hygiene products like soap, toothpaste, deodorant, and diapers; and cleaning supplies to maintain stability and meet daily needs. The client has been highly consistent and engaged in her treatment, showing strength and commitment to building a better future for herself and her child. While she has endured severe trauma in the past, including abuse and exposure to violence, her current focus is on providing her newborn with the care and stability she did not have growing up. Support through CarePortal services would help meet her immediate needs and reinforce her efforts to create a safe and nurturing home. ****Note: Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County submits this request on the client's behalf.
