Hi there, we have another family who is requesting help with getting a dresser for their current foster placement. They have asked for either a tall 5 drawer or short 6 drawer dresser as the one that is currently in the room is broken and 2 of the drawers are inoperable. We do not have a preference if it is new or used as long as all of the drawers work! The foster parents also plan to keep this dresser in the room for any future foster placements. Child has outgrown his infant car seat. He is over a year old now, as of April. Foster family is in need of a bigger car seat for the child.

This child has been on trial reunification with her mother for several months while her mother completed her treatment program. The mother has met all of the child's needs while actively working towards obtaining stable housing following successfully graduating from the program. Recently a housing opportunity opened up and the family will be moving into their first home. The mother has worked very hard to provide her child with stability and has grown immensely since child welfare intervention occurred. The mother and child are in need of various items for their new home. The major items being a washer and dryer. All of these items can be new or used, either is greatly appreciated! The family is in need of following items: a highchair, pots and pans set, over the door shoe organizer, hanging closet shelf organizer, clothing hamper, dishes, and toilet paper holder. This mother has worked extremely hard with very little support to get to where she is at and is very close to achieving her case plan goal of reunification with her daughter!

We have youth being released from residential treatment in the next week or so and are reaching out to see if we can find a source for a punching bag. The residential facility has successfully used the punching bag and heavy bags to help focus the youths aggression and work out some of his anger. Since using this method the youth has not had any unsafe incidents. We would like to continue this therapeutic training as the child transitions home. Ideally it would be a free standing bag as we unsure the family has a secure spot to hang a bag. The 100lb bag by itself costs around $100 with a stand costing an additional $100.

I have 2 young girls, 9 and 12 who have a long history of trauma with recent abuse. The girls had to leave their home to go reside with family to ensure their safety. Due to this, they are in need of some help with groceries and basic items for the girls. Although these girls have been through a lot, their spirits are not broken. They are both very kind and I know they would appreciate any help that can be offered to them during this time. Gift cards would be appreciated so that they can go pick out the items they need on their own.

A previous mom we helped some time ago has stated the bed we gave is now worn. A photo was provided to show that. She would appreciate a twin bed for her son (mattress and box springs and rails, or platform frame) and a comforter. This will help her son to get the sleep he needs to be healthy and feel secure.

PLEASE NOTE: RISE CHURCH CAN MEET THIS NEED WITH A BED WE ALREADY HAVE IN OUR INVENTORY. NO FURTHER DONATIONS ARE NEEDED.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet. Having a bed will greatly improve the quality of life for this teenage boy. Please consider helping with this need.

There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society
