Foster mom, who was displaced by Hurricane Milton since January, is currently in the process of finding a new place to live. However, she urgently needs assistance to stay at her current hotel until she can secure safe housing for herself and her two children.

GO is a mom of 4 yr old daughter and 1 yr old twins. She has been working hard at getting her certification in EEG completed so she can begin her internship. She is very driven and extremely positive despite multiple barriers and obstacles. She is a patient and loving mother. One of her passions is helping the homeless and often spends her extra SNAP money on making food and distributing it to the homeless. GO has been sleeping on an air mattress herself for about 6 mos and would really appreciate an actual bed. I am reaching out to the community to ask for assistance in providing support to 4 extraordinary siblings ages 17-25 who grew up throughout San Mateo County and were part of our local foster care system. Their biological father recently passed away and they're doing everything they can in order to provide him with a dignified farewell. They're needing to raise money to cover all costs associated with a burial site, funeral, casket, and other ceremony arrangements. Needless to say, these expenses are extremely high and well beyond their means as 2 of the siblings are in college and the other 2 (who graduated college previously) are early on in their careers. A youth is in need of support after recently moving in with a non-relative caregiver on short notice due to an unexpected change in living arrangements. The caregiver was not anticipating the youth's arrival and is working to quickly accommodate her basic needs. Gift cards for groceries will help ensure the caregiver can provide the youth with consistent meals, meet nutritional needs, and ease the financial strain during this transitional period. A previous mom we helped some time ago has stated the bed we gave is now worn. A photo was provided to show that. She would appreciate a twin bed for her son (mattress and box springs and rails, or platform frame) and a comforter. This will help her son to get the sleep he needs to be healthy and feel secure.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet.
