I have a mom who dad is leaving to California and mom is down to 15 hours a week for work and the three kids are sharing a bed right now so bunk beds would be extremely helpful for them. They have a mattresses already and a bunk bed would be such a blessing to them. Mom also stated that a dresser for the kids would be very helpful as they don't currently have one.

This family needs your assistance to obtain clothing and shoes for the children which they need to attend school. This hard-working mom has fallen on hard times and is trying to pick up the pieces. She recently became employed part-time at Home Depot but has not yet received her first paycheck. The children's grandfather helps when he can to watch the children. This mom is expecting a newborn girl on 8/4/25 and really needs help to have clothing for the newborn when she comes home. Your help providing the ability for mom to purchase clothing will really help ease her mind as she would like to provide to her children much needed items. Your help with clothing for the children will help them be able to attend school. A gift card from Walmart, TJMaxx or Ross. A mother who is working to reunify with her 4 young children, a 10 year old male, and three females ages 8, 7, and 6. The mother reports she will need assistance with securing beds for the children, but she reports she can obtain the other bedroom furniture that they will need. The mother has reported that she has painted and had housing fix the broken parts of her home and she is now ready to start preparing their rooms. The Department is requesting 4 twin beds and 4 twin mattresses. Assistance with bedding and pillows for each child could also be very helpful. Due to the children having special needs, bunk beds are not being requested. Thank you for your consideration!

Seeking support for an 11-month-old baby girl who has been in CDSS care since birth. She is currently placed with her paternal aunt, who has been actively meeting all of the baby’s developmental and emotional needs.

As the baby was born small and has experienced some developmental delays, she has been able to safely use her current sleeping arrangement until now. However, she has grown significantly and now requires a larger crib to continue to meet her needs safely. Her aunt is requesting assistance in providing a new crib for this child. Any support would be greatly appreciated to help ensure her continued growth, safety, and well-being.

A family of two consisting of a mother and son are needing financial assistance for a gas bill. Mom sustained injuries trying to protect her dog, which led to her having to take two weeks off of work. Mom has recently returned to work, but is having to catch up on bills. Currently there is a cut off notice for Wednesday 6/25/25. The amount needed is for $214.04. Getting this request fulfilled would greatly support this mom as she cares for her son as a single parent. Mom is a hard worker, and is dedicated to providing for her son.

A local family in need has been identified by our church. She lost her job and is trying to sell her house because otherwise she is going to lose it. This is one of those situations where circumstances have snowballed into a big mess. She's trying to get back on her feet, but the burden is heavy and discouraging. She needs a hand up. They have food for today and tomorrow. We would like to offer assistance with alleviating some of the bills that are piling up and helping the family to secure quality food options.

We are seeking the funds to pay their electricity bill so that the power can remain on, the phone bill so that she can maintain contact with their realtor as they try to sell the house, and funds for a grocery gift card.

Single mom with two children facing eviction if she doesn't get help with her rent. Children out of school, and challenges with child care, caused her to miss work. She only has half of her rent. She needs to help with $600 which is the the other half of the rent and late charges. The children will be going to summer camp in July allowing mom to get back to her normal working hours.

This would meet a huge need for this mom and child and serve the foster family as well.
