A single father is seeking support for basic needs after recently losing his job due to an injury. As a result, his bills have started to pile up, and he is dealing with an eviction while working on fixing his credit to become a homeowner.

He is looking for food items such as macaroni and cheese, chicken, and other basic cooking ingredients. Additionally, he needs clothes for his three children: his 6-year-old wears size 7T, his 2-year-old wears size 3T, and his 13-year-old daughter's size can vary, but she typically wears medium to large.

78-year old grandmother who is blind and has her significant health issues needs support taking care of her four grandchildren. They are currently utilizing an older, damaged and poorly working refrigerator. A foster parent is needing help with obtaining a bigger car seat for a new placement she took into her home. The child she is fostering is about 18 months old.

I am writing to ask for help for this grandmother who is caring for her four grandchildren. They are in desperate need of beds for two of the children who are currently sleeping on an old mattress on the floor and one on a bed with a broken boxspring. They are also in need of a space to keep their clothes. I am suggesting that we purchase new beds with built in storage as well as a new wardrobe for additional clothing storage. We would appreciate your help in securing these items for the family.

Youth is 19-year old male participating in the Foster Youth in Transition Program. He is currently experiencing food insecurity and financial hardships since moving into apartment with girlfriend. He has obtained employment but has not been able to start at a consistent rate in order to factor in budgeting for groceries. Youth is in need of support and if need is met youth will be able to obtain groceries and cook nutritious meals. This request would like to be provided on a Visa Card or King Soopers Groceries card if fulfilled.

Mom needs help getting her electric bill paid. she is scheduled to be shut off tomorrow.

When hardship hits, we turn to our church family. A dedicated single mom of 4, who also cares for a young adult who has aged out of the foster care system, needs our help. She works full-time as a home health aide driving up to 70 miles a day to care for her clients, part of what she does is taking them to appointments, and picking up prescriptions and groceries. She also drives her kids to school daily. One afternoon, after school pickup, she was hit by a driver who fled the scene. Thankfully, she and the kids were unharmed, but her car was badly damaged and had to be towed. With no backup vehicle, she’s rented a car for 3 weeks to keep working and caring for her family but she can’t afford to keep renting a car. To keep insurance affordable, she has a high deductible. She’s saved $600 but still needs $1,400 to get her car out of the body shop this week. The body shop won’t accept payments, and the charities she contacted don’t cover this type of need. The children’s father is not involved or supportive. Church family, let’s come together and help this hardworking mom and her kids get their car back. No gift is too small. 127 Place received a request from a member of a local church for a mom with three pre-school-age kids who are living in a motel. This family is from out-of-town looking for safety and a new life. They have no family support. They were just approved for an apartment with a move-in date of June 1, but they need help with deposits.

Mom started a job recently and has raised about half of the deposits. 127 Place is committing $500, but that leaves about $400 still needed for the deposits.

A young family of 2 children ages 1 and 7 years old are requesting a washer and dryer as they moved into a house from an apartment. The couple have been here from Venezuela for about 2.5 years and help out at Centro Cristiano a Las Naciones with leading music. They moved from an apartment which had a washer and dryer and now they need to provide for their own. The father is looking for work and does odd jobs to help pay for rent, bills, food, clothing, etc. A washer and dryer will help mom take care of her kids so that they will be able to attend school and help their hygiene.
