Mom left a DV relationship and now living on her own getting support through DV resources. Mom does not have enough funds to get the things she needs. Mom is starting over with her 2 year old and needs support and resources to get everything together.

The maternal aunt has opened her home and heart to her three nephews, taking full responsibility for their care after they were placed in protective custody. While her home was approved for expedited placement, she is in need of one toddler bed for one of the children. Having arrived with little more than the clothes on their backs due to their mother's homelessness, the children are in need of basic necessities. The aunt is requesting any support to help provide for her nephews. She has taken a leave of absence from work to focus on stabilizing the children and supporting them through this challenging transition.

Currently facing homelessness, she has no choice but to live in her car, a space never meant to be a home but now serving as their only shelter. Despite her unwavering determination, securing full-time employment remains nearly impossible without stable housing, forcing her to navigate survival on limited resources. She receives SNAP benefits, which provide much-needed assistance, yet her situation presents an additional struggle—without a refrigerator or stove, preparing nutritious meals is simply not an option. As a mother, she is doing everything she can to provide for her children, but at this moment, she needs help. She is humbly asking for assistance with a food card of $250 that would allow her access to hot meals, ensuring her family has sustenance beyond what she can currently manage. Any support during this difficult time would be a beacon of hope, allowing her to focus on rebuilding for her children. As always, she deeply appreciates your kindness, and she prays that generosity and compassion guide all who hear her story.

This child has been in this home for a little over a year with a single working foster mother. This little boy is five years old and is working towards being adopted into the home along one other child. The foster mother is in need of one bunk bed and one matters to go with the bunk bed. Only one mattress is needed as the child is already sleeping on one twin sized mattress.

The school has been working with a mom who was reunified with her children about a year ago. As a single parent she has needed extra support in keeping up with all of her kiddos and their needs. They've recently been accepted to move into a more affordable home at the beginning of June but they had to move out of their current place earlier than that. They are in need of a hotel room to hold them over until their rental is ready for move in. (The landlords are actually from MP!) The hotel is $84/night and we are hoping to cover 5 nights. There are several other churches claiming other nights as well!

This request is for a young adult female currently in her junior year of high school, who experiences ongoing financial hardship within her family. She plays a significant role in caring for her younger sister, who has special needs. Despite these responsibilities, she maintains consistent school attendance and holds a part-time job. However, the job is located far from her home and provides limited hours.

She has expressed interest in applying for jobs closer to home that may offer more consistent hours, but she faces transportation challenges. The family car recently broke down, and she currently depends on others outside the home for rides, which has proven unreliable. She is looking for a bicycle or another form of transportation to help her access more stable employment opportunities.

This is a single mom who is currently pregnant and due at the beginning of June. She has requested an infant car seat and a stroller. She is moving into a shelter this week. Mom lacks a support system and is trying to rebuild a better life for herself and her child.

We have a beautiful new family that arrived last week from Afghanistan. They came with nothing and currently the government funding is not available. we have helped the family secure housing and most of the furniture needed. they hopefully will move into the apartment in the next few days.

I am advocating for a mom of 2 who has had a stroke paralyzing her left side. While ordering a wheelchair for her, we discovered she is sleeping on a mattress on the floor. This mom has had three back surgeries and needs her bed high enough to be comfortably transferred in and out of bed and to be able to rest well. She is very humble and grateful for any help she may receive.
