Story
We are requesting support for a single mother and her three children who have recently transitioned out of a shelter and into their own home. The shelter provided fully furnished accommodations, but the family was unable to take any of that furniture with them upon moving out. Now that they are in their own space, they are in urgent need of several essential household items to create a safe and functional home environment. Who Needs Help: A single mother and her three children, including a 1-year-old baby.
What They Need: -3 beds with mattresses, sheets, and pillows -A crib for the baby (whole set) -A high chair for the infant -Dressers and desks for the children -Kitchen items: pots, pans, and dishes
What Will Happen if This Need is Met: Meeting this need will allow the family to establish a stable and comfortable home as they begin this new chapter. It will also free up their limited financial resources to focus on other critical areas such as food, clothing, and transportation. Providing these items will offer not just practical support, but also dignity, stability, and encouragement during this crucial time of transition.
