Clay County Children's Division frequently works with families who do not have transportation, but they need to get their children to the hospital, to forensic interviews, or to other vital appointments. These appointments are often unplanned and urgent. We are requesting 5 $50 Uber cards to have available when these unexpected needs arise.

We would like assistance with a single mother who has three children, 11. 8 and 5 years old. She has been the victim of a fire in her last residence, which has lett her with pretty much nothing. She is working, and is residing currently in Waxahachie Housing Aurhority. She needs one complete twin bed for one of her daughers, and a full box spring for her son. She really would love a church to walk alongside her. She needs love and support right now, as she tries to get her life together for her and her children. If you can help, you would be making a huge difference in this mother's life.

This resilient mother with three daughters one who is special needs and nonverbal. She is a stay-at-home mom who cares for her children as well as her elderly mother. Recently, she has encountered an urgent situation; her mother requires a wheelchair to move around more comfortably. Another church referred this family to us. Single mom, having a hard time, needs beds for her four children. We would like to help her by supplying beds.

3 students being removed from home. A teacher is taking them in through DHS and needs a bed and mattress.

There’s single mother with a 16 your old son in jeopardy of being evicted. She is recently divorced and has had to file for bankruptcy. Over the past few months maintaining the household had become more difficult. She received an eviction notice and is facing that notice being enforced next week, if she cannot pay $2257.

Single mother of 2 young children with a baby due in June. She was homeless but was able to move into housing and keep her children with her. She is in need of 2 car seats for her kids, currently she is unable to drive because she cannot afford car seats. She is a great mom that has worked hard to give her kids a new life but now she needs to make sure she is able to transport them safely. Here are the links to the type of car seat she is needing. These kids have experienced a hard life, and we would love to see them thrive and feel safe and this is a great start to aid in supporting them. a single mother without job has twin girls and she is struggling with the situation. One of the more important things in this moment for this mom is about diapers, she needs a lot of them because she has twins, and helping with this can her some relief in her economic situation. Her babies are 9 months and she needs 2 pack of 50 or more. if you help with this you prevent any bad situation for this mom and her twins

An expectant mother is in need of basic items for a newborn due later this month (May). The mother's community health coach requested an infant car seat, diapers, wipes. These items will allow the child safe transport and will supply the baby's diapering needs for a few weeks. We still need funds for the CARSEAT, WIPES, and DIAPERS. We are celebrating Foster Care Awareness / Appreciation month by hosting a FREE POOL PARTY at River Country Water Parks in Muskogee Oklahoma. We will be inviting current foster and adoptive families from 10+ counties surrounding the Muskogee area to attend. In addition to the pool party, we will be offering information to families of local resources and churches that they can connect with as well as dates for summer activities for VBS and children / youth camps that churches are participating in and inviting children to come to.

The party will be Saturday, May 31st from 6:30-8:30pm with capacity being roughly 700-800 individuals. We will have an RSVP process for the families. We are asking for our networking churches to contribute to the cost of renting the water facility out - $1,200. Any amount helps!
