Client is a single mother with a 3-month-old baby boy who is doing her best to provide for her child but is facing financial challenges and could greatly benefit from the donation or support of a gently used or new stroller. Having a stroller would make a significant difference in her daily life, allowing her to safely and more easily transport her child while attending appointments, running errands, looking for employment, and commuting. It would help ease her burden and give her more independence and mobility as she continues to build a stable life for herself and her baby.

Currently the Department is trying to reunify biological mother with her 2-year-old child who has primary medical needs. Child was born premature and cannot use a front facing car seat yet due to physical delays and not being physically mature enough to keep control of her head. Child requires a rear facing car seat for a 22-65lbs. Obtaining this car seat will ensure child is safe when transported to multiple medical needs.

The request is for a 11 year old girl who wants a vanity/desk for her new room. The case has been open for over a year and the mother has been able to finally obtain her own housing. In the new home, the 11 year old would share a room with her younger sister. While conversing with the child, the child expressed excitement in getting to go home with her mother and have a new room to decorate and make her own. The child showed the FCM her 'mood board' of how she wants to decorate her room with the help of her mom. The mother has been using most of her funds for rent and preparing the home for the children to return. The child expressed wanting one item more than anything and that is a white vanity with a mirror. The child also expressed wanting to utilize the vanity for school work as well. The child expressed how she enjoys doing her hair and skin care and how happy a vanity in her new room would make her.
